@tacticiian asked: "Oh I'm very sorry for bumping into you there- huh weren't you woman who was just recently singing? You look just like her."
She was humming a faint tune to herself when she was putting away her instrument; a lyre that looked fancily made. She gently slid the lyre back into its case, before picking up a hat that was laying next to her. Inside the had were twinkling gold coins, a decent amount. She smiled at the lucrative sum, excited that she would be able to afford an inn room as well as a meal today. This day was just getting better and better!
She counted the coins before slipping them into a pouch at her hip that jingled with her movements. Just as she pulled the drawstring, she jolted, a man suddenly bumping into her from behind. Well, that’s what she got for sitting in the middle of the road, she supposed.
“Oh no, it’s my fault, I should have been more aware!” She laughed off the pain, picking her instrument case off the ground. Now that she was standing, she was able to get a good look at the stranger. White hair, a black robe with eerie markings on it, and several tomes. There was even a sword at his hip; was he some sort of fighter?
“Ah, yeah, that’s me!” She chimed, lowering into a showy bow. “Emma Lyre, at your service! Sorry for, uh, sitting in the middle of the road.”
