Okay! Finally the movie which many Indonesians have been waiting for Ada Apa Dengan Cinta 2 (AADC2/What’s Up with Love? 2) is now on cinema. and today i just watched it! yeayy!!

Before the movie release, many people anticipated for it. And after the teaser of the movie came out, it becomes the talk of the town. Many memes are made on what the characters’ dialog, speculations were coming out about what the story will be, etc.  Me too, i expected a lot from this movie, i was excited on what the story would be like. Because the first movie which released in 2002 was so famous cause of its story and poetic dialog. Different with other Young love story, AADC1 could portray that lovely, drama and romantic and poetic feeling of falling in love for the first time by making a really poetical dialog which is still remembered by many Indonesians especially the one who was born in 80-90s. 

that is why when it was announced that this movie is going to have another sequel. I got so excited cause it could bring memory and nostalgic feeling from the first sequel. So i was expecting to have another poetic and drama romance from this second sequel.

But.. after i watched this.. i feel like “WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS MOVIE???? WHYYYY IT BECOMES ROMANCE-COMEDY????!!!!” well, tho there are still some dialog which are really poetic, but they did not bring those poetic dialog even further. even when the two main character (Rangga and Cinta) have this kind of-supposed-to-be-poetic dialog, when they said their line, it becomes funny. I also dunno why, but it feels awkward, perhaps it because the main two casts here (especially Dian Sastro who plays Cinta) could get the feeling from the dialog (maybe, i’m not an expert tho). 

And also, there is this scene when Cinta get mad with Rangga and slap him then walk away. But then suddenly she came back to him and said sorry cause she slap him. and I was just like “WHAT THE???? C’Mon people? whats wrong with this movie??” and the people in cinema are also laughing cause of that scene.

I mean Riri Riza (the director) actually could bring up more better story than this one, with more deep meaning from the story. Not just this story about meeting with someone you used to love, then after breaking up with him then he showed up to explain why he broke up with you then you get along with him which cause you to have that longing feeling for him, then finally you get back with him again. THE END. Riri Riza could be better than making this kind of story to the big screen. 

So i think once again, they just wanna make another profit by using people’s nostalgic feeling about Rangga and Cinta’s love story.

And this story i think really fit with Indonesians’ youngsters nowadays. cause they have this trend #Galau (In dillema cause of something, mostly about love) #GagalMoveOn (cannot move one from the one you love). These are really the big theme for this movie, so i think youngsters could really relate to this movie, and being #Galau together with this movie. That is why i called this movie as The Movie for Galau Generation.

Okay! So! i just watched this Thailand drama called ‘Kiss Me’ it is another version of Japanese manga “Itazura Na Kiss’ which also has been adapted by Korea with ‘Playful Kiss’ as the title and Taiwan also. 

before, i never thought i would be watching a Thailand drama, i usually watch their movies tho which are recommended by my friends and most of the time they are comedy or romance-comedy or horror-comedy. but this time i got recommendation from instargram, there is this one account about asian drama that i followed in ig, and they recommend this drama saying that this Thai version is better than Korean version. and I thought ‘really?’ cause i must admit that the Korean version is sooooo not good to watch. Kim Hyun Joong’s acting was sooo awkward and the story was really off, and they make the supposed-fun part into a very unrealistic and foolish scene. And in this Ig account they also give a short cut scene from thai version, anddd i got interesting because of the actor here (yes, as always). not just that because i got so stressful lately and need a little romance drama, and it seems this drama is not that bad. so decided to watched it.

When I decided to watch this drama i was expecting that good-looking guy’s high-pitch voice saying “Sawaadikaap”, something like that, BUT NOT at ALL!! surprisingly that guy’s voice is deep and mainly which i really like it and make me mesmerize by his voice. and not just that guy’s voice but other actors do not have that high-pitched tone that i thought they have (sorry, bout my stereotyping *peace). And so i think i didnt make mistake in choosing this drama to watch.

Okay! so this Thai version has almost the same storyline with the Korean version, but how they portray the characters is a little bit different with the Korean version and they also change a little bit of the story. Mainly this drama is about a girl who is bad in studying falling in love with a very smart guy in her school, who actually is her childhood friends. And because fire accident in the girl’s house, she move to his house as their fathers are also good friends to each other. and the story starts to get fun after they live in the same house.

There are three main characters here Taliw (Aom Shusar) that not-so-smart girl, TenTen (Mike D’Angelo) a very smart boy in the school, and King (Setthapong Phiangphor) as Taliw’s best friend who actually has feeling for Taliw. In Korean version, Taliw’s character is depicted as a very dumb girl who really like to follow TenTen (I dunno the korean version’s character names, so i just use the thai version) where ever he goes. As for TenTen which was played by Kim Hyun Joong in korean version is depicted as someone who is really cold and does not really show his feeling to his beloved one and when i watched the Korean version i got confused whether his character really like the girl or not (perhaps its because of Kim Hyun Joong acting skill or the story line, i dunno).

But, in Thailand version Taliw thought she is not good in studying but she shows determination to find her own dream plus she does not really depicted as dumb as in Korean version. in this version i think, her character is like an Innocent, kind, passionate, and funny girl. And for TenTen in this version could show his feeling well toward Taliw despite of his cold behavior and not so-care behavior. And the most important think is i like how Mike D’Angelo play his character here tho i still find his acting is a little bit awkward, but it is okay.

Another thing that make me like this version more than the Korean version is that the flow of the story is really good. They got the romance and comedy at the same time. they show how the characters grow really well which make it better than the Korean version.

Okay!! So, i just finished watching this drama called “Descendants of The Sun” from South Korea. And the main casts are Song JoongKi,Song Hye Kyo, Jin Goo, Kim Ji Won. this drama got a very very high rating in its country and got many good reviews all over media, even South Korea President gave her gratitude to this drama by inviting one of its cast, Song Joong Ki, to met her. that is why i really excited when i was watching this drama, and got high expectation (also because there is Song Joong Ki, of course). Anyway, in this review (should i call it a review) i will view this drama regardless of all good review that media have given and Song Joong Ki (^_^). 

 first, my reaction after watching this 16- episode drama is, the story is too good to be true. Well, i know all writers in this world have that intention for people learn something through their story, like learning that “though your life is difficult, there will be happy ending for you”. And this drama really really obviously deliver that message. All struggles that the characters deal with always resulted in good way, happy ending; even when they are dealing with death (which really amaze me and make me said that “ why this drama is so unrealistic?”; somehow they make the death characters, Soong Joong Ki and Jin Goo’s characters, are alive in a way that can be get in 0,99% chances). Well again, they make it like that so that people could have hope in every struggles they are facing with,even for death.

Plus, the writer make all the characters as good people, humanists, like all good traits that human should have or TRY to have are in the characters. Especially the main Song Joong Ki’s character (no wonder people are crazy bout him NOWadays rather than the era before he went to military service). His character, really, is portayed as the ‘Perfect Man’ or 'Ideal Man’; he got leadership, kind, gentleman, good manner, plus good looking which make this drama more unrealistic. I mean it makes me fantasize that kind of man and wondering his existence in this REAL world and makes me have high standard for men too (duh~). 

Also, i thought that this drama would have 20 episodes rather than 16. that is why i think from episode 15 to 16, they make it in rush (?). I dont know, it seems like they just push the story to small box and they force the story to fit as an ending by making the death characters alive again. I wish they make the romantic story of the two main characters longer and showing on how Song Hye Kyo’s character struggle to accept the dangerous job that Song Joong Ki’s character has. 

And at first i thought this drama was made because they want Koreans see that being a soldier is not that bad, but then again they lack in portraying soldier’s live in realistic way (that is why i prefer sad ending, though it will be hard to accept kkkkk). However i stil was touched on how they portray soldier and doctor in this drama. They make these two jobs seem like a 'holy’ job, and they portray them beautifully.
