This lovely girl is Alexis and she’s 19 years old 

no this is not a promo thing this is much more than that

Yesterday while Benedict Cumberbatch was at TIFF and signing autographs and taking pictures with fans she was stuck in the hospital with no means to even make it to the festival for a chance to see him

when she told me why she was in the hospital it literally broke my heart

Unfortunately this sweet and precious young woman is suffering from degenerative heart failure and she has 1 year and a half to 2 years (max) left to live 

Her only wish before she dies is to meet Benedict and to actually have to opportunity to shake his hand and to just see him in person

Since she is 19 years of age she is too old to even be eligible for Make A Wish Foundation (since the cut off age is 18) so she has no means to even have a chance to meet Benedict 

So since all of you in the Sherlock/Benedict fandom are caring, wholesome, and sweet people I am depending on you to at least try to make this happen

all it takes is enough notes and hopefully Benedict will see it, since he is aware of his internet fans/fandom

please I am begging you, this needs to happen or at least we need to try!
