Heād made a brief pit stop, Red using a small break to tend to his Pokemon, wounded and exhausted from the nonstop training theyād underwent all morning. They worked hard, and itās because of this, Red often overstocked his backpack with different treats and foods for his beloved team to chow down on.
The champion would do almost anything for his team, they tried their hardestā¦they were family, to him.Ā
Picking up his bag from the large boulder itād been nestled upon, his team was quickly called back - aside from Pikachu, of course, who took home on his shoulderĀ - Red then slinging his pack over his arm, ready to go.Ā
It hadnāt registered with him that a thief had intruded itself into his bag, man acting as if nothing were out of place. Despite that, they still werenāt at all welcome.
Itās why Pikachu had stared at the Pokemon like sheād witnessed some kind of alien leaving Redās bag, electric mouse puffing out itās cheeks anxiouslyĀ as she grabbed at them, unsure of what to do.
When her trainer noticed, it was all over.Ā
After being whackedĀ in the face with her tail, Redās expression turned sour, turning his head swiftly towards the Pokemon and stopping in his tracks, tapping her gently, but with a sense of sternness in his actions.Ā āWhatās your problem?!ā Is what his face reads, the mouse pointing incessantly at the stray electric type in his bag.Ā
It isnāt until Red hears the squirrel cheer, that the champion freezes.
Oh no. Oh Arceus. There was a Pachirisu in his backpack.Ā
oh, he was spotted, oh well. had to happen sooner or later, though being ratted out by the pikachu wasnāt ritsuās ideal way to be caught. jeez, whereās the comradery between electric rodents here? snitch. he was about to leave soon anyways.Ā
studying red up and down as he sits in the bag, he focuses on redās face, gauging the otherās intimidation status and in how much harm ritsu seems to be.
... eh. he doesnāt look like anyone to write home over, thatās for sure.
ritsu knows how many volts feels like an irritating zap, how many makes some real pain, and how many will knock a person unconscious; none of these were removed from his arsenal once he begins to feel even slightly threatened. though... he doesnāt want to cause any trouble for his dear trainer, at least with a stranger, not to mention that pikachu might be an issue if things escalate too...Ā
shifting tone, ritsu swallows, a sudden cuteness creating a stark contrast from his first impression. hugging onto his fluffy tail, he yawns, rubbing one eye sleepily as if just awoken from a nap. he then looks around as if shocked just as much as red by their predicament, a somewhat falsified panic making the pokemon seize up and cry loudly for his own trainer, ritsu rubbing his teary eyes.Ā
