The Man with No First Name

He had never ever met a pufferfish merman, but they seemed like a nervous bunch. Of course he liked all merpeople ( apart from the ones that tried to eat him ), but some just made him a bit.. anxious.  "I.. I think the storm is starting soon —"

"Oh! Oh my, I am most sorry— I didn’t mean to frighten you, dear man!", Ennead said while mid flip, then turning rather.. ungracefully on his stomach from his back, hovering a bit above the pufferfish.  "I am utterly sorry! My.. my name is.. Ennead, and I am here to watch the storm. " he glanced upwards to see if the sky had begun to thunder. Not yet. "And.. what about you, if.. If I may ask?"
