annie sighs against his lips, hands pressing flat against his chest but not pushing him away. her teeth tug on his lip before she's pulling away, forehead resting against his. "is that door definitely locked?" she asks, her voice more of a whisper but she doen't look away from his face. "kind of don't want it to be over before it begins." annie makes quick qork of unticking his shirt, pressing her hands to his skin.

blake lets out a low chuckle as she pulls back from him, and he nods his head. "yeah, it's locked." he confirms, knowing very well locking the door behind her was the first thing he did. his breath catches in his throat as her hands press against his skin. "no need to worry. i'm not letting you off the hook that easily." he murmurs, lips trailing down to her neck.

her hands fist at his shirt as he pulled her closer. part of her had expected him to change his mind, go home to his loving wife and not give in to whatever temptation she was offering. there's a surprised gasp, before she gives herself to the kiss, pressing impossibly closer.

his arms pull her flush against him as he deepens the kiss. any restraint quickly dissipates the longer his lips are pressed against hers. his hands begin to roam her body, one holding her flush against him as the other moves upwards until fingers tangle in her hair. blake pulls back for a breath of air, though his lips only pepper a few kisses against her jaw before he's right back to kissing her again.

annie lets out a shaky breath, taking a step closer to him. this was so out of her league, she wasn't the girl that went over known married men or older men in general, but she'd met blake by chance one time and hadn't stopped thinking about him. "are you going to kiss me, or just look at me?"

there was absolutely no going back from this moment and blake knew that. there's only another brief moment of hesitation before his arm is hooking around her waist, pulling annie in closer. he doesn't say another word and instead leans in closer. blake takes her in, eyes scanning her over once more before his lips press against hers in a heated kiss.

annie leans into his touch, nodding slowly. "you say you don't want me and i just go back to sitting in her class being vaguely jealous, and not trying to meet up with you off campus or begind locked doors. but if you want me..." her tongue flicks out to watch drying lips, heart rate speeding slightly. "we shouldn't. but do you want me?"

he pauses, as if he was seriously mulling it over. however, he had a feeling they both knew exactly how this was going to go. annie was a vision, and it wasn't that his wife wasn't but he supposes that doesn't really matter right now. his hand shifts to cup her cheek, thumb brushing against her jaw. blake gives her a simple nod in response, "i want you."

this isn't something he should even entertain, yet blake couldn't even consider brushing her off. he leans back for just a moment before leaning back in closer to her. "the balls in my court?" he repeats her words with a raised eyebrow. fingertips press underneath her chin, ensuring her gaze stays on him. "how considerate of you, annie." he lets out a breath, but makes no effort to move away from her. "we shouldn't."

in her head, there was more up there than bedrooms. but it felt almost like a sign. they were lines greer didn't need to read between, but she was anyway. she makes her way down the hall, fingertips now tracing thew line in the wall beside her. she pushes open the door to the master bedroom, and steps inside. "i'm just curious." she smiles sweetly, letting her gaze trail over everything before landing on the bed. "ugh, and you have to sleep in this bed all alone?"

madison wants to figure her out, but its not as easy as she thought it might be. she lets greer take the lead as they approach the bedroom. her cheeks were slightly flushed, though she'd blame the wine over anything else. surely, whatever she was feeling was just the wine. madison moves past her and sits on the edge of the bed, hands pressed against the blankets. "most of the time." she answers. "i guess it gets lonely sometimes."

"i think maybe if he was the jealous type, and if i wasn't allowed to still be my own person, that he'd be out here too." she steps closer to him, hand placed flat against his chest. "but you and i are alone, and you have your hands on me."

"you think you needed to drag me all the way out here for me to put my hands on you?" he questions, his grip on her hip tightening as she moves closer to him. "if that's what you wanted, all you had to do was say so."

he's maddening, but violet still finds herself grabbing his wrist and pulling him away from the party. no one there really knew her, except her boyfriend who she hadn't seen in close to an hour, which meant her risks really didn't have consequences. they're outside and around the block before she lets go, arms folded over her chest. "see? no leash, no search party. i can do anything."

tj just laughs as she starts pulling him away from the party, but he doesn't protest. when she finally stops, he looks around. "what's this prove, princess?" he quirks a brow, stepping closer as he lets his hand settle on her hip.

ophelia brushes the top of her nose against delia's, too far, but they have to put on a little bit of a show to make anyone believe the lie. "this is a great idea. you get a really nice holiday, i get to not embarrass myself, no one loses. we can do this."

she's too close and it causes her breath to catch in her throat. delia exhales slowly, her forehead resting against ophelia's. "it's a terrible idea," she says again, though she's pretty much completely given in at this point. "i'm not so sure any good will come of this for me."

"neighbourhood book club." greer laughs, it's a sweet sound. she's still fighting off goosebumps from where madison touched her, and ignoring the implications. "ours is just . . . boxes to be unpacked and covers on furniture in case they decide to redecorate. it's so much nicer here." greer helps herself to the staircase, fingertips tracing as she walks to the top floor. "and what's up here?"

"being a housewife is exhausting work," she laughs, shaking her head. this wasn't exactly what she thought her life would end up looking like, but it wasn't the worst thing either. "you're welcome over anytime." she assures the blonde as she begins to follow her up the staircase. she was trying to be nonchalant, but she could't stop the way her eyes wandered as greer moved before her. "an office on the left, couple of guest bedrooms inbetween." she states as they reach the top of the staircase. "master bedroom here at the end of the hall."

ophelia steps closer to her, hands settling against her jaw and tilting her head to look at her. "come on, it's just one week. then i'll do everything i can to help you get over me. i'll compensate you." her thumb brushes over delia's cheek, and it pulls on strings in her own chest. "please?"

delia should have known better than to even invite her inside, because she never could really say no to her. she tenses at ophelia's touch, but it's only a moment before she's giving in. "this is a terrible idea, ophelia." she murmurs, her eyes wide as she looks at her. it wasn't a no, but it wasn't quite a yes either.

"i think you could do so good. if you wanted to." she finishes off her wine, and slips off the bench. "you wanna show me around this impressive house? i do love your kitchen, but i bet the rest of the house is just as nice." and maybe greer was worried if they stayed sitting that close with alcohol involved she'd start making poor choices, actions she may regret.

madison watches her carefully, following her lead to finish off her own glass of wine. "ah, the grand tour. how could i forget?" she reaches forward to set her glass down before standing to her feet. she did love her house, and she enjoyed showing it off. this big house mostly to herself was a perk of being stuck in this marriage. and if right now showing it off meant spending more time with greer? she was going to take it. her hand brushes gently against the blonde's arm before she begins to lead her into the next room. "this dining room has hosted one too many boring dinner parties," she comments as they pass through into the living room area. "and the neighborhood book club certainly has voted my place as the best meeting spot."

"do you think it might be because it turns intro this every time we talk?" she knew it was unfair to ask this much of her, but it also felt too embarrassing to admit 6 months later that she did, in fact, end a relationship and just keep it hush hush to save face. "what's it gonna take for you to say yes?"

"oh, of course. cause the problem is always how i react, isn't it?" she sighs, glancing away from ophelia. "i'm not doing it, ophelia." her voice is quieter now, her gaze still focused anywhere but at her. "figure it out, because i'm not just going to jump back in when i've spent every day since you left trying to get over you."

"mhm, i'm very good. might even turn it into a job one day, but for now my parents are letting me be a spoiled freeloader, and why mess with that?" she grins, before taking another sip of the wine. "yeah, you look like you could be a model. you have a face where you do a double take because people just are not meant to look that good in person."

"i'd have to agree, seems like a good thing you've got going for you." madison gives her a slight nod of her head. she can't help the slight blush she feels creep over her cheeks at greer's compliment, and all she can do is shake her head before she takes another sip of wine. "i don't do near as much as i did when i was younger, but," she shrugs, letting out a laugh.
