Do you like Disney? Yes? Have you seen Wish? No? Okay, completely wipe all your expectations, understand it isn’t the masterpiece they advertised it as, forget everything everyone said about it, find some way to watch it without supporting Disney, and watch it. I promise you. You will have fun, at least enough to justify the time you spent on it.

Have you seen wish and didn’t like it? Well, try to forget what you thought the first time and give it a second chance. Focus on what was good about it. Focus on the songs at parts where they were good.

I promise you, wish can be an enjoyable viewing. You just have to understand it wasn’t the perfect movie it was advertised as and that it isn’t super deserving of being disney’s big 100th anniversary film.

But it’s fun and it’s whimsical and it’s hopeful.

I think nowadays so many people focus so much on critique and the critical eye that they forget sometimes a movie can just be allowed to be fun even if it isn’t great.
