John C. Reilly has signed on for a Wreck-It Ralph sequel

John C. Reilly, who voiced the titular character, has confirmed that he has signed on for another Wreck-It Ralph movie. The actor made the announcement at the Galway Film Fleadh while sharing stories of his career with the audience.

Disney hasn’t given the film an official green light, but director Rich Moore had previously said that he had began exploring ideas for sequel immediately after the first film became a box office hit. Back then, he was hoping the sequel would explore online and console gaming.

Wreck-It Ralph’s composer Henry Jackson first revealed that Disney was working on a sequel last year.
