below   is    a   list  of  harry’s  whereabouts  during  significant  moments  in  the  mcu,  as  well  as  his  own  life.     this  is  specifically  my  headcanon  to  assist  in  building  a  history  for  him.    granted,  there’s  not  much  detail  going  to  be  explored  here,  but  rather  we’ll  see  where  harry’s  life  was  at  that  give  moment.

DEC. 13TH  OF  2000      —–      harold  t. lyman-osborn  is  born  to  norman  osborn &&  emily  lyman-osborn.   after  a  rough  pregnancy  &&  marriage  to  norman  osborn,   emily  grows  weak  while  harry  is  watched  after  by  the hospital.

DEC.  15TH   OF  2000   —-         emily,  harry’s  mother && norman’s  wife  passes  away  due  to  complications  following  harry’s  birth.    harry  never  grows  to  know  emily,   && is  only  offered  information  when  he  asks  his  caretakers.   this is  also  the  birth  of  norman’s  neglect  && hostility  toward  his  son.

DEC. 15TH   TO  AUG.  OF  2005  (age 4)     ——-     norman,  ever  the  struggling  scientist &&  inventor,  much  like  his  father,  spends  most  of  his  days  at  his  labs  while  harry  is  cared  by  certain  caretakers.   to  prevent  harry  from  growing  any  significant  attachments  to  any  of  them,   they  are  cycled  through  often,  creating  a  difficulty  for  harry  to  learn  &&  communicate  effectively.  

AUG.  26TH   TO   AUG.  OF  2011 (age 10)      —–     harry  is  homeschooled  by  professional  teachers  hired  by  norman  after  some  success  regarding  his  life  changing  technology  reaching  hospitals.    during  this  time,  the  events  of IRON  MAN,  IRON  MAN  2   and  THOR  take  place.    do  to  this,  norman  decides  it’ll be  difficult  to  compete  with  tony  stark  &&  contemplates  moving  to  london.

AUG. OF 2011  TO  AUG. OF  2012   (age 11)     ——      instead  of  moving  right  away,  norman  decides  to  send  harry  to  an  all-boys  boarding  school  in  london.   moving  oscorp  takes  longer  than  expected  &&  harry  spends  months  on  end  not  speaking  with  his  father.   that  is  until  the  events  of  THE  AVENGERS  occur and  oscorp,  a  small,  but  growing  science  building,   is  annihilated.   a  distraught  harry  calls  his  father,  only  to  be  ignored  until  he  finally  gets  ahold  of  norman’s  assitant  to  find  out  that  he’s  been evacuated  from  the  city  &&  is  moving  oscorp  to  london  for  the  time  being.  

AUG.  OF  2012   TO  MAY  OF  2014 (age 13)          ——-  with  norman  in  london,  harry  saw  him  with  frequency  while  returning  to  their  home  in  london  every  other  month  or  so.     while  their  relationship  developed  into  a  speaking  one,  it  was  still  nothing  like  having  a  father  should  be.    during  this  time,    the  events  of  CAPTAIN  AMERICA:  THE  WINTER  SOLDIER happened  &&  norman  &&  harry  witnessed  the  fall  of S.H.I.E.L.D. && discovered  some  hydra  sleeper  agents  within  oscorp,  that  were apprehended  after  threatening  norman  &&  harry.

MAY  OF  2014  TO  MAY  OF  2015  (age  14)                  harry  continued  to  struggle  with  boarding  school,  as  well  as  his  sexuality.   being  at  an  all  boys  school,  this is  when  harry  explores  his  sexuality,  kissing  and  dating  certain  boys.    this  of  course,  didn’t  help  his  grades,   reigniting  norman’s  hostility  for  harry.   he’s  certainly  not  the  heir  he  was  hoping  for.     during  this  time,  the  events  of  AVENGERS:  AGE  OF  ULTRON  took  place.    with  public  opinion  waning  on  tony  stark,   norman  contemplates  this  being  a  time  to  really  strike  back  to  new  york  && attempt  to  create  the  empire  of  oscorp.

MAY OF  2015   TO  JAN. 2017 (age 16)     ——     norman  continues  to  contemplate  moving  back  to  new  york  && his  mind  is  only  made  up  when  the  accords  are  established &&  tony  stark  has  become  an  increasingly  complex &&  controversial  figure  to  the  public. especially  after  the  events  of  CAPTAIN  AMERICA: CIVIL WAR   without  so  much  as  a  warning,  he  uproots  harry  again,  forcing  him  to  leave  behind  friends  &&  even  a  relationship  && move  back  to  new  york.

(1)   THE  NEW  KID       ——        harry’s  the  new  kid  at  midtown.    he  doesn’t  know  anyone  &&  struggles  to  fit  in,  after  his  dad  essentially  bought  his  way  into  midtown  school  of  science  &&  technology.     he  meets  the  various  students  at  midtown,  including  but  not  limited  to,  peter,  michelle,  ned,  flash && other  mcu  versions  of  gwen,  mary  jane, etc.    even  liz,  if  willing.     he’s  certainly  not  smart  enough  to  be  there,  so  he  meets  a  lot  of  opposition  toward  that.   &&  while  harry  can  defend  himself,  he  can’t  help  but  know  that  there  is  truth  in  what  they’re  saying,   so  he  falls  in  the  crowd  of  outcasts.

(2)   SPIDER-FAM   ————-  harry  interacting  with  peter,  ned,  michelle,  liz,  gwen,  mary  jane,  etc.   i’d  love  to  see  him  struggle  in  class  &&  allow  the  others  to  help  him  study,  show  him  around  &&  just  become  good  friends.     he  can  be  there  for  them && have  interesting  interactions  &&  plots  after  we  discussed.   he  can  take  them  to  oscorp.   he  can  tell  them  about  norman &&  things.   you know,  friend  things  ??

(3)   NORMAN  OSBORN         ——-  so  currently  i  don’t  know  any  mcu!norman  osborn  accounts,   but  if  one  does  appear  &&  perhaps  uses  matthew  mcconaughey,  please  hit  me  up.   i’ll  be  looking  for  tense  &&  downright  angsty  conversations  &&  interactions.    but  not  just  that.    norman,  as  his  mental  health  is  anything  but  well,   has  in turn  severely  crippled  harry’s  self-worth  &&  self-confidence,  as  well  as  his  mental  health.   this  is  where  my  angsty  interactions  come  in  with  any  characters.   harry’s  never  truly  felt  the  love  of  a  parent,   as  norman  would  rather  see  peter  or  anyone  else  be  his  son  &&  is  consistently  disappointed  with  harry.     norman  also  works  as  a  connective  tissue  to  the  greater  mcu,  extending  to  defenders,  agents  of  shield,   &&  of  course,  avengers.    

(4)    PARKSBORN         ———   as  i’m  sure  many  of  you  have  noticed,  i  am  complete  && utter  parksborn  trash.    my  harry,  as  stated  previously,   identifies  as  homosexual   && my  primary  ship  for  harry,  assuming  there’s  chemistry,  is  parksborn.    them  meeting.   spending  time  together.   getting  to  know  each  other  &&  like  each  other.   kisses,  cuddles,  angst,  fluff.      all  of  it.

(5)    PARKSBORN  (PLATONIC) ———–      of  course,  if  parksborn  the  ship  isn’t  your  thing  or  you  were  hoping  for  some  brotherly  love  instead,  i’m  also  all  down  for  that.   their  relationship  can  become  very  complex,  especially  with  norman’s  manipulation  && a  jealousy  factor,  because  even  though  harry  loves  peter,  he  can’t  help  but  envy  him.   i’m  down  for  anything && everything  for  these  two.

(6)    OSCORP     ——-     one  of  harry’s  least  favorite,  but  most  favorite  places  to  be.   i   hc  that  oscorp  purchased  avengers  tower  && now  operates  there,  however,  if  that  doesn’t  work  for  you,   it’s  just  some  random  tall  building  in  new  york.   this  could  work  for  spider-fam,  or  any  of  the  other  mcu  characters.   harry’s  on  the  board,  but  doesn’t  have a  voice.   he’s  a  minor  but  it’s  a  kind  of  heir  to  the  throne  thing.    

(7)     AMERICAN  SON     ——–       that  beautiful  armor  from  the  comics.   i’d  love  to  explore  harry  taking  up  a  hero  mantle  of  his  own  after  getting  it  from  dear  old  dad,  despite  norman  intending  on  giving  it  to  peter &&  peter  declining  because  he’s  got  a suit  of  his  own.    &&  the  drama  that  could  cause  with  other  heroes,  as  well  as  harry’s  friends.

(8)     HARRY’S  MENTAL  HEALTH    ——–    harry’s  current  mental  status  is  kind  of  fucked.   he’s  never  really  had  a  parent,  especially  with  norman  essentially  leaving  him  to  pursue  his  career.    he’s  been  blamed  &&  feels  guilty  for  his  mother’s  death  shortly  after  his  birth.    norman  himself  suffers  from  some  sort  of  disorder  that  causes  him  to  lose  his  shit  on  harry  a  lot,  damaging  his  self  confidence  && he’s  been  in  the  public  eye,  &&  the  expectations  on  the  kid  are  just  too high.
