It's depressing seeing the way some people treat creatives sometimes. Like, this person created a thing you and others enjoy, of their own accord, with financial benefit that often doesn't match or exceed the effort or work it takes, and gave it to you to enjoy, and some people think "Wow! Now I get to be entitled and act like they owe us for the thing they gave us the ability to enjoy, that would not exist or be available to us without them and they did not need to give to us." That or they're needlessly cruel, or they're directly hateful over pet peeves (and I must make it clear, I'm saying let peeves, not creators being openly bigoted or horrible, just minor things you personally dislike) when they could just look at literally anything else. Like, dang, do these people not realize creatives would be more plentiful, more daring and experimental, and more generous if they weren't witnessing this behavior towards themselves and others? To the good fans who aren't this way and are grateful for the fact that someone created anything at all, I salute you, because the opposite is tiring and discouraging.
