Making the walk of shame down to the confessional next morning, where the other priest, an alpha who's self control is already hanging on by a thread cause he can constantly smell distressed omega in heat, has to listen to him stammer red-faced through a confession of what he did last night. it is absolutely key that this is communicated to your partners (using partner here in the loosest possible way, just whoever you’re playing with). This goes for whether you’re domming or subbing. you cannot be afraid to say oh I’ve never tried that before, can we start slow? If you just assume that fantasy and online interaction translates to in person competence, there’s real risk of hurting one another. This goes heavily for choking, which I think is the obvious one, but translates over to things like impact and pretty much anything actually. If I find out I’m playing with a sub with no experience or very limited experience, it gives me the opportunity to take things slow and try out a few different things, start gentle and get rougher, really find out where their comfort zone is and what kind of stuff they actually enjoy. Which is infinitely better than when someone’s like oh, I can take it and then they obviously can’t. The goal is that we both have fun together, and in addition to risking injury you’re also just risking a bad time. I don’t know. I feel like I have more to say on this and maybe I will later.
