When the heart is busy with this worldly life, a person will look for worldly means to find relief from the calamities and difficulties of life.
And when the heart is connected, and its concerned, and its busy with Allahﷻ, the first thing that comes to a persons mind during difficulties, is Allahﷻ.
The way you live your life is going to dictate how you respond to a difficult moment.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
احْفَظْ اللَّهَ تَجِدْهُ أمامك، تَعَرَّفْ إلَى اللَّهِ فِي الرَّخَاءِ يَعْرِفُك فِي الشِّدَّةِ
“Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him in front of you, acknowledge Allah in times of ease, and He will remember you in times of difficulty.”
The companions, Abdullah Ibn ‘Abbas said :
لا كَبِيرَة مَعَ اِسْتِغْفَارٍ ، وَلا صَغِيرَة مَعَ إِصْرَار
“A sin is no longer major with repentance and a sin is no longer small with insistence.”

Signs of Allah in Camels.
Camels are animals that were created to survive the hottest climates on earth. Camels are commonly used for transportation in the desert. Deserts are vast areas of sand and the temperatures in these areas can rise as high as 500 C (1220 F).
You might have experienced temperatures around 300 C (860 F). Even at such a temperature, you immediately become tired and thirsty when you are out and playing.
Camels can still go for kilometres at temperatures of 500 C (1220 F). They can stay without water for days. This is because Allah has also created their bodies very differently from ours. Camels store the water they drink inside them for long periods and they quench their thirst with the water they carry within them.
Feeding is also a problem in the desert, since the desert is dry land and there is almost no vegetation. There are only cactuses and other thorny plants. The camel's mouth and lips are so tough that when it bites, it can even pierce a hole in the sole of a shoe. This is why it can easily feed on thorns and keep hunger away.
As well as that, the hair that covers the skin of the camel protects it from the intolerable heat. Allah has made the camel's feet wide because they always walk on desert sand. Due to their width, the camel's feet don't sink in the sand. In addition, Allah has made the skin under the camel's feet very thick. In this way, the soles of their feet never burn.
There are very frequent sandstorms in the desert. Did you ever witness a strong wind when you were at the beach? You would not have been able to open your eyes because you had to try to prevent all the sand from getting in them. If that wind were to become a bit stronger, you wouldn't have been able to see ahead. However, camels have two layers of eyelashes. These lashes weave into each other just like a trap and they protect the camel's eyes during sandstorms.
Allah has created every living thing with the features that are most suitable for their habitat. There are no penguins in the desert, for instance. Since the penguin's features are not suitable for desert conditions, the penguin would die quickly in the desert. Similarly, camels could not survive near the poles. Allah has created everything where they should be. Allah is the strongest and He has endless knowledge. Allah creates everything without any shortcomings. Allah informs us of the camel's creation in the Qur'an as:
"Have they not looked at the camel-how it was created?" (Surat al Gashiya:17)

Why are our eyes open when we die?
Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reported The Prophet ﷺ as saying:
“Did you not see even the man died and his eyes were fixedly open?”
He (Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه) said yes.
He (Muhammad ﷺ) said:
“It is due to the fact that when the soul leaves the body, his eyesight follows the soul.”
[Sahih Muslim 921]
Shaykh Muḥammad Ibn Ṣāliḥ al-‘Uthaymīn رحمه الله said: "If removing something harmful from a path is a Sadaqah, then placing something harmful on a path is a sin.

Lack of remembrance of Allah 8. Hastiness in prayer 9. Slandering those who give themselves freely to good deeds from among the believers and the righteous 10.Mocking the Qur'an, the Sunnah and the Messenger, sallallahu `alaihi wa sallam 11.The protective oath 12.Disliking to spend for the sake of Allah 13.Desertion and abandonment of the Muslims 14.Originating false rumours and causing sedition 15.Finding fault with Allah's decree 16.Bringing down the honour of the righteous 17.Remaining away from the congregational prayer 18.Causing mischilef while claiming to establish peace 19.Outward behaviour contradicting what is in the heart 20.Fear of unpleasant events, incidents and happenings 21.False excuses 22.Commanding the evil and preventing the good 23.Tying one's hands back out of stinginess 24.Forgetting Allah 25.Denial of the promise of Allah and His Messenger 26.Concern for the outward appearance and neglect of the innner condition 27.Eloquence, long-winded speech, boasting and bragging 28.Lack of understanding of the religion 29.Not sinning in front of the people (due to fear of them) but showing boldness to Allah by committing sins in secrecy 30.Rejoicing at the affliction of the believers with a calamity and being saddened at their being touched by joy and pleasure
When I was young, my brother would teach me Quran during my memorisation sessions with my brother, I would always be curious as to how much Quran he had memorised. I would ask him and he’d always make a joke out of it with a Yardie accent for jokes - I’d never get a straightforward answer. As time would go on, he’d drop me small lessons, telling me how every time I sin, a bit of my Quran memorisation would leave me.
The years went by and he made Hijra for the sake of Allah to sham. I managed to speak to him on the phone one day and said to him, “We are both grown men now so tell me honestly, how much Quran do you actually know?”. So he replied with the exact same joke he would put on all those years ago!
Although I was laughing with him, I was actually frustrated. At that moment I was told that he was a Hafidh of Quran for years. My father jumped up in shock. As did I. He was a Hafidh all those years and kept it to himself whilst his family had no idea. Now ask yourself, have you met a person like this in the 21st century? Have you met anyone who is so sincere with Allah that they don’t even tell their nearest and dearest of this beautiful deed?
In this day and age, brothers would usually hint that they are Hafidh of Quran, say it themselves or at least love for someone to point it out on their behalf. The only stories I know till this day where the people keep such a deed PRIVATE between themselves and Allah are the Sahaba and the Salaf.
On social media we get brothers titling themselves as “Shaykh” because they have a beautiful voice. We have people who record themselves reciting Quran in a beautiful manner but only to seek attention, good comments and the “Insta Fame”. This Mushaf was my brothers personal one. From it you can see the wear, tear and repair it went through as he had this close to him for many years before leaving for the sake of Allah.
The sweet thing about this is that he would tell another brother who was also a Hafidh to lead salah, saying “You lead Salah because you know more Quran than us.” When word got out that he was a Hafidh, the brother felt betrayed 😂
