Caçadora voraz, Órtia, vencedora em batalhas e nutriz dos jovens. Tu és a assassina de gigantes, cujas flechas douradas perfuraram Tício outrora. Tu és a senhora das feras, partejadora alada, sublime e honrosa. Ártemis clamada, sob o luar e sob a tocha. Os cães prenunciam tua passagem, suas ninfas se misturavam na relva. Silvícola virgem, amiga das mulheres, defensora e salvadora. Ergue teu olhar prateado, o ouro de seus dardos, o brilho de sua visagem. Caminha solene pelo campo, misturando-se ao verde, és dona da paisagem. O bosque estremece contigo, a onça anui seu desejo e vontade. Ártemis brilhante, sua seta tudo alcança com virtude e verdade.
