Does a 28 Hit?

I'm a Pathfinder 2e (previously D&D 5e) forever GM for about 4 years and this quickly evolved to become my favorite Hobby hands down! I'm also a huge fan of Critical Role and their on-going campaign!

My players were searching for a flower with the ability to heal almost any sickness. This search led them to a grotto which was guarded by a being wreathed in dead foliage. Such was the Shambling Guardian. A boss-ified Spin on the Shambling Mound with increased AC and HP. It also got a nifty bonus action to be mean as well as some lair actions that make actual use of the mounds Lightning Absorption.

Inspired by one of my favorite franchises of all time, Resident Evil, the Leech Zombie and Leech Zombie Behemoth.

These were designed for creepy swamp-like environments. Telling your players their characters are suddenly covered in Leeches that bite at them promises a worthwhile reaction from them!

I've got this idea from a different Homebrew regarding this image that I modified to be a Boss Monster in my on-going Horror Campaign. This was an encounter for a 4th Level Party with 5 Players and while challenging, they emerged victorious (just one of them died due to an ability I omitted from this version as I feel it might have been too strong)!

This is a different spin on the usual Werewolf, being a Werewolf that hates his lycanthropic curse and hates the death and destruction they caused. Such strong internalized emotions transformed the poor soul into an even stronger Werewolf: a Weeping Wolf.
