Innocent lives taken nonstop, most times never seen or heard. People meant to protect citizens doing the murder, most times getting away with it. Fear of death on a daily basis because of the color on your skin. You are a human being... You MATTER Enough is enough. Superheroes may not exist in our world, but we can be our own heroes. At a time when we need them most, we are the ones that have to stand up for justice and human rights. We need to unite. We need to change. Even if you think you can't do anything, there is always something no matter how small. We've always needed change in America. Racism isn't anything new, only now we have cameras and social media. Time to be a real hero. Protest if you feel mentally and physically capable. Stay safe and don't take advantage of looting, especially if you're white. Support black artists and businesses. There is a lot of beautiful work out there unrecognized and waiting for you. Give them love. Listen to what's happening. Don't think this doesn't affect you if you're not black. Educate yourself because being silent lets oppression continue. If we could have stopped discrimination by now we would have, but never give up hope.
