(via The Return of Bold)
Every artist remembers the moment they first discovered bold color.
For Hazel, it started with dramatic makeup experiments - bright shadows, fearless lipstick, and eyeliner drawn with complete confidence.
Over time those bold choices evolved into refined technique.
But every once in a while it's fun to revisit the beginning.
This portrait explores that return to expressive makeup - vibrant magenta eyeshadow, confident lipstick, and classic portrait lighting.
Rendered in "DAZ Studio using Genesis 8 Female", the look was refined using "DD Makeup Editor", which allows layered makeup editing and adjustable intensity directly on Iray PBR skin shaders without permanently altering the base textures.
Because sometimes style isn't about moving forward.
Sometimes it's about remembering where the story started.
