Making Cedric hate himself and the way he is perceived because of that one interview with Robert Pattinson saying that "he hated people like Cedric", amen.

The second crush you have is the most handsome Hufflepuff you've ever seen and he's really kind and understanding. You plan on confessing to him and asking him to join you on the Yule Ball, but you're beat to it because he's going with his boyfriend. His boyfriend is the guy you had your first crush on.
Will never watch this slop of a reboot because,
1.) The actors (excluding the children) know full well that they were going to represent the work of a transphobe, racist, and every other damn horrible ist/ism. They get money because of the show and in turn, give money to the transphobe herself.
2.) It's not doing anything new and doesn't even look that good. If this show was made as an original without any source material, it'd crash and burn just like the rest of current shows releasing/that are cancelled.
I even think of deactivating this account because I support the IP, but why not instead live in my own delusions and rewrite HP instead. (Fixing the world building, adding more diversity and complexity to the cast, just making it a different thing entirely)
Since it's Pride month and I despise JK Rowling, I'm claiming Cedric Diggory as my own character and making him a trans man.

Instead his eyes focus on an older boy with brown hair and a pretty determined face who seems to be focusing too hard on what supplies to get.

The times Cedric proves that just because Hufflepuffs are kind and loyal doesn't mean they're doormats. And one time someone protects him.
Everyone goes over not shipping these pairs due to their characters and morals, but are we forgetting the fact that they're related even if the bloodline is distant. It's still weird . Also he's racist/blood purist and goes against every moral and value Harry has. Why not make them narrative foils instead (This is about Draco ignore the other tagged ships)
I get it that Slytherin is seen as this fascistic/purist house but it would be more complex if it wasn't really seen as the villain house but more as the most traditionalist house.
More in tune with the old-ways pre magical creature migration. It'd be meta if people mixed up the old ways with being racist/specieist/purist

There's so much I want to rewrite about this series. Honestly the theme of "carving your own path despite what people tell you" could work so well because of the entire thing with stereotyping people in certain houses or from certain families or being a certain species.
