I'm beginning to think the Force and I have different priorities

So @imthxpilot made me these beautiful rp icons, so now I just can’t get rid of Cassian.  XD  I’ll try to come back.  But for now, I’m on hiatus.  Maybe when I’m finished with school in a couple of weeks, he will come back.  These 6th graders are sucking out my soul. @_@

“Just pieces we can use to repair the x-wings, modify. The rebellion cant really start up its own repair hangers with out causing to much commotion so we scavenge around.” Sits across from Cassian so he can finish his meal. Bb just chirping and werring about this and that.

Nodding, Cassian finished his breakfast, putting his fork down. “Kay’s scanners can help us pick out useful parts,” he told him, and Kay sat a little straighter, happy to be mentioned as helpful. Not that he’d admit to it.

“Good, good, I mean I bet he has a talent for swindling little old junkers out of their wears. I may give you a go Kay. If you are up for it.” BB began to wheer again in irritation. “Ah come on buddy I know you are good but you can be down right mean. We are trying to take their stuff not make them cry”

Cassian snorted, both at BB-8 making scavengers cry and the idea of Kay swindling anyone.  “Kay has a talent for putting his foot in his mouth.  Besides, his Imperial markings make everyone a little uncomfortable.  But you can give me a shot.  I get information out of people all the time; I should be able to haggle decently.”

“Alright you’ll get your chance Captain. We’ll see what you got.” Really wants to see Cassian in action.

Cassian smirked, up for the challenge. "Ready to go?" he asked, having finished his breakfast.

“Kendal Ozzel has been named the new Admiral now that Motti is dead,” he told Ezra.  “We know he’s been tasked to find our base, but hopefully they’ll stay away from this ice cube, deeming it uninhabitable even for us,” he mentioned, referring to their current location, Hoth.  It was certainly different than Yavin IV and they were having a hard time adjusting some of their systems to the freezing cold.  “The only other intel we have gained is that they are slowly pooling resources, increasing the size of their fleet as we decimated quite a bit during the Battle of Yavin.”

Ezra nodded, glad his prosthetics were changed to adapt to the wasteland of Hoth. “Hopefully they will,” he muttered, rubbing his arms together. “Her- General Syndulla’s been changing her ship systems so that it won’t freeze anything while we’re here,” he said. “Of course the Empire needs to replenish, we did too after the battle, unfortunately we don’t have all the resources the empire has.”

“Which is why subterfuge and spying are what we rely on,” Cassian replied.  “Knowing how to fight them doesn’t mean anything when we don’t know when and where to attack.  Sometimes we don’t even know the how.”

“Luckily I’ve done spywork before,” Ezra admitted. “Back on Lothal… a few years ago, I had to infiltrate a storm trooper cadet academy, while the mission wasn’t a total success, we did manage to get a spy in imperial ranks and a force sensitive to safety,” Ezra replied. He did miss Zare and Jai, but they had other things to do now.

The general nodded.  “I’ll consider it a success if no one is discovered and captured,” Cassian answered.  “Any information gained will be valuable.”
