This is the way | Crosshair x mandalorian!reader
Pairing: Crosshair x mandalorian!reader
Summary: when you and your squad run low on credits, you get a mission by the imperial governor Tarkin. Little did you know that he has other plans than just a single mission and that this would lead to a whole new chapter in your life.
Warnings: slow burn, forced partners to lovers, abandonment issues, reader doesnât remove helmet, descriptions of violence
Part 1 < Part 2 > Part 3
It didnât take long for you and your squad to return to Kamino. Gladly, none of the blasts coming from the troopers had hurt one of your members, so there wasnât anything to worry about.
You moved through the Hallways with long steps, somehow unhurried even if it was Governor Tarkin waiting for you.Â
After all, he isnât your superior.Â
âCanât wait to buy proper food with the credits after this.â, Voren groaned, stretching as you turned the corner to a hallway full of doors. âI havenât eaten anything good in ages.â
You laughed slightly at that, looking back to see him and Kaelor goof around while Ryn adjusted their chestplate. âWeâll get you somethinâ worth the wait.â, you ensured, getting a happy air fist bump from Voren.
You stopped in front of the familiar door, knocking three times with your gloved hand.Â
âCome in.â
Tarkins voice was cold and monotone, just like his gaze as he looked at you.Â
though, he wasnât alone. Besides the two Kaminoans standing in the roomâone of them being the prime ministerâa certain group of Troopers were present too.
This time, Crosshairs helmet rested underneath his arm.
It was the first time you properly saw his face in real life instead of a holographic picture, and you were surprised to see that he was actually quite attractive.
But it wasnât a topic you were interested in.
âWhat are they doing here.â, he asked, cutting the silence as you and your squad stepped in.Â
You just gave him an unamused look that he couldnât see underneath your helmet before stopping in the empty side of the room.
Behind you, you could hear Kaelor scoff at the clones tone.
âI see, you already met.â
âUnfortunately.â
You rolled your eyes, crossing your arms in front of your chestplate, âWe are here for our payment.â
âYes.â, Tarkin spoke, looking at Nala se who was holding a small box of credits. Her tall frame moved towards you.Â
You could see that she wasnât really happy about your presence here on Kamino, the way her eyes narrowed at Ryn who took the box told you enough.
Ryn didnât care either and opened the box, stopping right in their tracks after looking at the credits. âWait, this isnât what we agreed on!â
Your eyebrows furrowed as you looked at the credits as well, realizing that Ryn was right. You scoffed, âThis isnât even half of what you promised us.â
âexactly.â, Tarkin spoke, walking around the table to stand in front of you. âIf you want the rest, you will have to do more than just watching our troops.â
You could see how the clone standing a few steps beside you raised an eyebrow, watching as you point at the Governor accusingly.Â
âYou never mentioned any of that. We arenât here to work for the Empire.â
âDonât think you have a choice here.â, Tarkin just said unfaced, turning away again. âYou need credits, I need soldiers.â
You couldnât respond to that. He was right. You need the credits, and the ones you have now wouldnât last two days.
You looked at your squad, knowing that they shared the same thoughts.
âYou will operate alongside our Elite squad under the command of CT-9904.â, the Governor assigned, not bothering to wait for your consent.
âThatâs all.â
~
Thatâs how you found yourself in an Imperial spaceship, flying to the planet where your squad and the Elite were supposed to track down Saw Gerrera.Â
The Empires connections have collected enough evidence that he fled there, so now it was your mission to finish him off for good.
âWhat are we doing?â, Ryn asked, polishing their Knifes as you sat in front if them. Kaelor stood beside you, arms crossed and you could feel his disapproval for your current situation.
You sighed, rising from your seat to look at your team members. You were their leader and you knew theyâd follow you almost everywhere.
âListen.â, you started, setting your hands on your hips as if the words where too heavy to say, âI know this isnât what we wanted, but we need the credits, and once we have those we will leave.â
Voren groaned in response, cracking his neck before giving an agreeing hum, âItâs not like we have a choice anyway.â
âOh please you just want to get your hands on some food, big bag.â, Ryn joked, giving Voren a playful hit against his arm.
You smiled, nodding before turning around to get a good look at the Cruiser. No one knew that you secretly hated flying on ships that werenât yours, it made you uneasy.
You raised an eyebrow as you noticed the small workbench built into the wall, on it a few polishing tools.Â
âHuh.â, you looked around before pulling out one of your blasters and throwing it onto the workbench. It was old, scratches and dents were proof of countless battles you already fought.
As you started to polish the weapon with the tools, you heard footsteps approaching. There were light, the kind of steps that you practiced to not get caught.
You didnât stop your hands as you felt a heavy gaze in your neck, only when it didnât leave did you tilt your head. âYouâre staring.â
âAm I?â, Crosshair responded almost immediately, eyes narrowing as he watched you clean your weapon. He didnât mask his suspicion towards you and your squad and you couldnât blame him. You trusted him just as much.
âYou ever take off your helmet?â
The question threw you off a little, causing you to put your blaster and the polishing tool back down. You looked back over your shoulder, setting your eyes on his revealed face.
âNo.â
Your voice was cold enough to let him know that you were serious.Â
âWhat if youâre bleeding out?â, Crosshair couldnât care less if you died from a head injury under his watch, but he was curios.
You put your blaster back into your holster, turning to him fully. âThen Iâll die.â
Crosshair huffed at your response, pushing his body from the wall he leaned on. âI guess you will.â, he nodded, turning to leave, âDonât become a liability.â
You watched as his tall frame left the small room, his helmet still held underneath his arm. âlikewise.â
~
You threw yourself behind a rock, your blasters in both hands as you peeked at the chaos unfolding in front of you.
You didnât know the position of anyone of your squad, knowing that they were most likely sneaking around the containers that were close enough to Gerreras soldiers.Â
The only one you could properly see was Crosshair and one of his troopers. The situation had escalated quickly, the second you stepped into Gerreras hideout area, his soldiers launched at you in a surprised attack.
You took a deep breath, searching for the original target. âAnyone got eyes on Gerrera?â, you asked into your comm, putting one of your blasters back into a holster.Â
âNegative.â, Voren responded after a few seconds of silence and you grit your teeth. I think Iâm having a deja-vĂşâŚ
The Clearing you were on wasnât the best for a fight. It was close to the cliff of the mountain, giving way to a free fall several kilometers down into another thick forest. A Fall from that high would end distrustingly.
Your eyes locked back onto Crosshair who positioned himself on a small hill, picking off the fighters one by one. âRyn, you and Kaeloe go search for Gerrera. Voren and I will help out here.â
âAffirmative.â, Ryn responded and you heard their jetpacks starting shortly after.
recollecting yourself again, you took a deep breath, grabbing one of your knifes and jumping up.Â
You shot two of Gerreras fighters that where cornering one of the elite troopers, giving him a quick nod before charging forward and driving your knife into the neck of another one.Â
It was kind of concerning how many people Gerrera still had even after Crosshair and his squad took out a large group of them. But you somehow expected that.Â
After all, Saw Gerrera was well known for his popularity among rebells.
You took a few hits to your side, growling at the man in front of you before hitting the back of your blaster against his head and your knee into his stomach.
But before you could engage again, you were suddenly thrown back by a huge explosion, hitting the ground with a low tumping sound.Â
âKeâosik!â, you cursed, getting back up as you looked for the origin of the explosion.
Your breathing hitched a little when you realized that it was the hill Crosshair was on that exploded.Â
Examining the area further, you saw how he hang half off the mountain edge you were on, struggling to pull himself up.
âVoren! Howâs it looking?â, You asked into your comm, looking around to see that Gerreras soldiers were slowly retreating.Â
âLooks like we are getting out of here alive.â
âReally?â, you asked jokingly, holding your side as the pain from colliding with the ground intensified.Â
Then, Kaelors voice joined in too, âwe lost Gerrera.â
News youâd rather not hear. ââŚFine, regroup at the shuttle.â
beside you, one of the troopers noticed the situation the clone was in as well, âCommander!â
You grabbed his wrist when he wanted to run forward, holding him back while you holstered your weapon. âNo, go back to the shuttle! I will get him.â
The trooper hesitated, but with a nod he did as you said.Â
You didnât waste more time after that, running towards the cliff with long strides. You could see how Crosshairs hands started to slip, the gravity pulling at his body more with every second.
âOh come on.â, you growled, activating your Jetpack to fly the rest of the distance.Â
But when you reached, he slipped, falling with an almost inaudible yelp.Â
You grit your teeth, flying after him past the cliff and reaching out in hopes to catch him by the wrist.Â
He was falling rapidly fast and even though the distance between the cliff and the ground was huge, your anxiety spiked up.
âCommander, where are you?â
âBad time right now!â, you pressed your words through your teeth, feeling your heart race as you got closer to the Clone.
You didnât want to get to know the wrath that would wait for you if you didnât rescue him, you had enough problems already.Â
With a last stretch, your hand closed around Crosshairs wrist and you immediately angled your body upwards to stop the rapid decent towards the ground.Â
You could feel his weight pull at your arm, but you were glad that he was lighter than your squad members who you had to rescue a few to many times already.
When you looked down, you saw how Crosshair stared up at you already, his chest heaved underneath his armor.Â
âWhose the liability now?â, you grinned, squeezing his wrist to underline your joke as you saw him move his head the way one would move it when rolling your eyes.Â
When you reached the surface of the cliff again, you set the clone back down onto his feet before landing yourself.Â
While you looked at your weapons, checking if any where missing, Crosshair picked up his rifle. He had lost it from the explosion, leaving it secure on the ground.Â
You shot a quick look at him, checking for any other injuries before turning. Itâs time to return to the shuttle.
You could hear by Crosshairs footsteps that he followed you, quiet as ever. You didnât expect a Thank you or anything of that kind, not from hiâ
âThank you.â
Well, that came unexpected.
You turned your visor to him, noticing how he just stared forward instead of returning the look.Â
âFor saving me, I mean.â, he added, voice lower this time as if he was embarrassed by it.Â
The corners of your mouth twitched up. âSure.â, you nodded, looking back to the invisible path in front of you that lead back to the shuttle. The thick trees surrounded you like giants.Â
âI donât want to know what those Kaminoans would do to me if I didnât.â
Crosshair almost snorted. Almost. But he caught himself, smirking just slightly beneath his helmet.
âGuess youâre right.â

Part 1 > Part 2
You never take off your helmet in the presence of others
The only rule for a mandalorian that was carved into stone.
The only rule for you that you clung to like a drowning child, desperately holding on for dear life.Â
You never took off your helmet. Not even to tend to an injury that could end your life if you didnât.Â
Because this is the way.Â
And you would never betray the people that took you in after the seperatists turned your home into ashes.
âGot eyes on the target.â
The sound of Vorens voice, the second member after you in your squad, tore through the comm in your helmet and your eyes narrowed down to the dark clearing.
âHold position.â, you responded, moving over the tree branch you were perched on with practiced ease. Your hands hovered over your twin blasters with every move, ensuring that you could grab them as fast as possible.
you let your eyes sweep over the few people that sat in the small camp, noticing the absence of a certain individual, âAny sign of Gerrera?â
âNegative.â, the third in your squad, Kaelor, responded, his voice low as he crouched somewhere in the bushes.Â
âWhat about the Elite Squad.â, you spat the name as if it were a joke, thinking of the Imperial Squad youâve only seen holograms from.
âThey are approaching.â, the last member of your squad, Ryn, answered. âFast.â
âGood.â, you nodded, quickly noticing the five troopers in black armor moving through the forest.Â
At their front, CT-9904, or Crosshair.
âI donât trust Vice admiral Ramparts squad yet. So itâs your job to keep an eye on them.â, Tarkin spoke, his hands behind his back as he looked at you with minor interest.
âMake sure there arenât any⌠complications.â
It was an easy task, one that would get you a decent amount of credits thatâd get you through the next week. So you agreed.
After Governor Tarkin ran you through the basics, like the members of the Elite Squad and the mission ahead, you and your squad took off immediately.Â
No one knew of your participation, besides Tarkin, so you had to lay low and do what you were best at.
âYou want to know why they put me in charge?â, Crosshair asked the Trooper in front of him, watching as the mans head tilted.Â
âBecause I am willing to do what it takes.â, within seconds, he raised his weapon, shooting a hole through the troopers chest before he could even react.
The remaining troopers flinched, staring at their collapsing team member before straightening again after Crosshairs gaze fell on them. âFinish itââ
He stopped, eyes narrowing underneath his helmet before he turned, attention drawn to the treeline around them.Â
His troopers quickly finished off their task, executing the last few people that were in contact with saw Gerrera, before they noticed their commanders look.
âWe are being watched.â, Crosshair mumbled, slowly reaching for his sniper.Â
the four of them listened closely, eyes searching for any movement that didnât belong to the forest around them and holding their weapons with tight grips.
Then, something moved in the corner of crosshairs eye and he whipped around, shooting the person that quickly darted away before the blast could pierce through their head.
Chaos erupted.Â
Crosshairs troopers started shooting at the silhouettes that suddenly moved through the bushes while Crosshair tried to make out the presence that hid somewhere in the trees.
Then he saw you.Â
Your armor shined in the moonlight, giving him the ability to see what you were.
âMandalorians.â, he hissed, weapon rising as he aimed, but you already darted away.
âThey are fleeing!â, one of Crosshairs troopers shouted, lowering his fire blaster to run after you and your squad, but Crosshair stopped him with his hand.Â
âNo.â, He said, turning away instead, âWe will return and report.â
âBut what are Mandalorians doing here?â
Crosshair didnât answer, the feeling that crept up his chest told him enough to assume that Governor Tarkin could give him the answer to that.Â
âWe will find out soon enough.â

Youâre alright | Fred weasley x reader
Pairings: Fred weasley x animagus!reader
Summary: After getting attacked by a death eater, you rush heavily injured to the only place your subconsciousnes trusts: The weasley burrow.
Warnings: description of Blood, Injury, Angst/comfort, Reader is a bird animagus,
Word count: idk
Your lungs stung and your vision blurred as you tried to hold your body in the air.
Chest heaving as every messy flap of your wings caused a sharp sting to jolt through your body.Â
You couldnât even properly make out where you were even heading. Could only rely on your body which seemed to know where to go.Â
Your deep wounds seemed to develop their own, rapid heartbeat as thick droplets of blood left a faint trace behind you.
You didnât know how long you flew, only that you would probably faint if you didnât go fast enough.
Then, as you dragged your gaze forward, you could feel slight relief wash over you when you saw the tall, familiar house coming closer.Â
The weasley burrow.Â
Practically your second home.Â
In front of it, on the green grass, stood two figures. Tall, short ginger hair and wide smiles.Â
Fred and George were messing around with their newest invention, obviously enjoying their summer holidays.
Burt Fredâs laughter got quieter when he noticed the single, not too small, bird darting towards them. Movement frantic.
His eyebrows knitted together as he watched your animagus shape approaching rather quickly, breath hitching.Â
George quickly noticed his sudden confusion and followed his gaze towards you.
âIs that..?â, George mumbled, stepping beside his brother who squinted his eyes.
âThatâs Y/nâŚâ, Fred realized, his stomach twisting in unease. He immediately sensed that something was off.
You were a rather elegant flier, always gliding through the sky as if it was yours. but this wasnât elegant. This was frantic, panicking.
His eyes widened as he started to take a few steps backwards, âShe isnât slowing downâŚâ
He was right, you werenât. You didnât have the strength to dampen your speed, just squinting your eyes more with every meter you crossed.
Then, as it your body knew that you reached your destination, your wings gave out. Your muscles suddenly softening as you fell.
âShit!â, Fred cursed and started to run. George following as he watched your bird figure thundering past them.
CRASHÂ
Your body crashed through a tall window, feeling how the glass dug into your flesh right before you collided with the hard surface of the floor.
A scream came in response to your sudden appearance and you could just faintly tell that it must be ginny.Â
âY/N!â, Fred barged in through the door, looking around before he spotted you. Blood pouring out of your wounds and onto the ground.
behind him, George shouted, âMOM! DAD!â
You could barely hold your eyes open when you saw how Fred crouched down beside you, eyes wide in horror as his hands hovered over your small body. Heâs trembling.Â
âGeorge! What- Oh merlinâŚâ, Mollys voice muttered, her confusion switching to shock as she saw you.Â
The weasleys knew of you being an animagus, after all it wasnât easy to hide if you spend most of your time with them.Â
Arthur was the first to find it back then, and now when he saw you here, bleeding out on their floor, he could only stare in shock.
âFred!â, Molly said, making her son look up as he didnât know what to do. He was obviously in a state of shock.
A sharp, pained sound escaped your break before you scratched your last energy together and started to shift back into your human form.
It hurt, a lot. And after the feathers retreated and your wings grew into arms, you could only cry out.
ây/nâŚâ, Ginnys voice trembled, hands covering her mouth before George hugged her, avoiding her gaze.
âWhat happened?!â, Arthur asked, Molly rushing to your other side.Â
âI-I donât k-know! she just- crashed down.â, Fred chocked out, tears welling up just slightly.
You couldnât move. Didnât want to move. The pain too overwhelming for you to handle.Â
You couldnât see your wounds, but you felt them. And there were deep.Â
Throbbing pain in your side, leg and shoulder.Â
A wet, thick liquid reached your fingers. Blood. Your blood. A dark crimson, red in the sun light pouring through the destroyed window.
a chocked sob escaped from your throat and your eyes found Fredâs. âFredâŚâ, you mumbled, barely loud enough for him to hear. But he did.
âFred! Hey!â, Molly said, putting a hand on his face to make him look up. âI need you to carry her.â
He stared for just a second, nodding before itâd take too long.
You bit your lip as you squinted your eyes, feeling his hands touch the crook of your neck and knees.Â
You cried out when he tried to lift you up.Â
âH-Hey, itâs alright.â, he quickly said, guys worried eyes not leaving your face. âYou will be alright.â
âIt hurtsâŚâ, you chocked, chest heaving as you looked up at him.
âI know baby, I know.â, you wouldâve smiled at the nickname, but given the situation all you could do was sob. âI need you to work with me, okay?â
you nodded, taking a deep, shaky breath before biting down on your teeth.
Pain striking through your body as Fred lifted you up with ease. ââs all good, You are doing great.â, he breathed, carrying you with him as he followed molly and arthur through the house.
You felt as if you would rip apart any second now, Skin split from the cuts and numbing pain from bruises forming on your skin.
You tried to suppress another cry as you were put down on a solid Area, Fredâs warm hands leaving you too fast for your liking.
You didnât want to seem weak, tried to somehow steady your shallow breathing. But it didnât work.Â
You were scared.Â
Scared to die from too much blood loss.
Fred didnât feel any different, hands trembling as he put them on either side of your face, cradling it as if he could soothe the pain with it.
You sobbed again, âFred-â
âIâm here, itâs okay.â, he reassured you, watching as his mother scanned your body and clothes, quickly detecting your wounds.
âArthur.â, Molly muttered, glancing towards her husband who put all the needed first aid stuff beside her. He nodded knowingly, giving you a reassuring look before heading towards the door.
Molly then turned to her son, âFred?â
âI will stay.â. he responded immediately, scared that his mother might want him to leave.Â
He couldnât. Couldnât leave you alone like this.Â
âOkay, keep her calm.â
Fred nodded, looking at you as if he could feel your pain too.Â
Molly started by rolling up your shirt, far enough so she could see the wind at your right flank. You sobbed again, scared of the pain that would come with the Medicalisation.
Your eyes darted, squirming away from the cloth that molly would use to wipe away the blood.
âY/n⌠look at me.â, Fred said, turning your face back to him and forcing you to look into his big, wet eyes. Heâs crying. Not as hard as you but enough for one tear to slip.
âJust look at me okay?â
You nodded hesitantly, biting your lip again.
They pain was awful, your fear even more. You didnât want to go through the torture of taking care of your wounds.
But even as strong pressure was put on your wounds in order to stop the bleeding or as the sharp needle stitched them closed, you could only see Fred.
His caring eyes and warm hands seemed to ground you enough so youâd survive the pain long enough until Molly could say âsheâs stableâ.
He was your anchor.
____
Fredâs heart pounded in his chest, his leg bouncing up and down as he crossed his arms. Gaze fixed on a distant spot on the ground.
His hair was messy and his eyes a little red from crying. He was biting down on his thumb nail, hoping that it would help with his nervousness.
âYouâre gonna lose a thumb if you kept pulling at it like that.â
He flinched, just a little, and met the look of his twin.
George fell into the couch beside him, grin disappearing as he worried for his brother. For you.
âHow is she?â, he asked, making Fred sigh.
âStable.â, Fred answered, ânot bleeding out anymore.â
The words felt bitter on his tongue. She bled.Â
A sharp breath escaped through his nose, hand lowering back down into the cross if his arms.
âShe fainted shortly after mom started treating her last wound.â, he continued, a shiver running down his back, âMom said she needs rest.â
So Fred didnât complain when his mother finally forced him out of the room.Â
âWhat even happened?â, George asked, clearly shocked himself.Â
Fred leaned forward, elbows on his knees. âI donât knowâŚâ
I canât beieve I wasnât thereâŚÂ He thought, eyes closing.
He could speak of luck that you survived it. Yet alone made it to the burrow on your own.
A laugh escaped his mouth, though it held no humor. âSheâs so fucking strong.â
George could only nodd. âYou donât say.â
âWill she be alright?â, another voice asked, making the twins look up to look at Ginny. Her eyes were red too, nervously fiddling with her hands as she approached her brothers.
Fred was silent for a second, anxiety curling in his chest like a snake.
Then, he smiled. âOf course she will be okay.â, he answered then, hugging Ginny as she sat down beside him. âYou know how strong she is.â
Ginny nodded, a small, hopeful smile spreading on her face.
Ron wasnât there with them at this hour, being somewhere outside with Hermione and Harry.
Fred felt like every breath strung. His heart pounding too loud, too fast. Others would think heâd faint right then and there.
But he didnât. Could only think of your chocked sobs and pained eyes.
It hurt. The thought of you being hurt like that. How you had to go through all that alone.
And yet you did it. And he canât believe how strong you are for it.Â
And still, he had to throw up after his mother made him leave. Your blood on his hands and arms from where he had touched you.
By merlin he hoped you will be okay.
____
It took two whole days until you woke up again. Your body gasping greedily for air and your eyes darting open.
You tried to sit up. Wanting to defend yourself from whatever threats you had faced. But the pain ripping through your body made you fall back into the cushions. Making you groan.
âHey, everythingâs alright.â, A way too familiar voice spoke quickly, making you look to your right.
âFredâŚâ, you mumbled, breath hitching as you saw his worried face. âWhereâŚâ
âYou are at the burrow. You are safe.â, he quickly responded to your half silent question. your eyebrows noted together in confusion, buy quickly exchanged with recognition as you remembered.
âIâm safe.â
Fred nodded, smiling a little as he sat up from the chair beside the bed you laid in. His bed, to be specific.Â
âYes.â
All the tension from your body left a little more after the passing of every second, your eyes closing in exhaustion.
Fredâs hand lowered down onto your cheek, his thumb brushing over the small cut in your cheekbone which came from the collision with the window.
âDo you want to tell me what happened?â, fred asked after a moment of comfortable silence, seeing your nose flare before shaking your head.
âNot yetâŚâ, you answered, looking at him. He looked so handsome like this. messy hair, freckled skin and the sun hitting his eyes just right.
You smiled, leaning into the touch of his hand.Â
âIâm so glad I made itâŚâ, you mumbled, not wanting to think of a universe in which you wouldâve probably died from blood loss on your way here.
Fred nodded, just as relieved as you were. âMe too.â
Silence spread again, laying over you like a blanket of silent reassurance. It wasnât uncomfortable. It was never when you two were alone.
One of the things you adored the most in your relationship.Â
âI should get you something to drink.â, Fred then muttered, letting his hand slip from your skin to rise to his full height.
Your eyes widened just a little at that, your hand darting out just in time for you to catch Fredâs wrist.
âFredâŚâ
He turned to look at you, eyebrows risen in worry as he looked down at you. âYes?â
You couldnât find your words in that second, thoughts and memories from the earliest incident still messy in your head.Â
You looked down, heat crawling up your neck. âCould youâŚâ, you started, trying not to sound like a needy toddler. âS-Stay? With me?â
Fred could only smile, his hand replacing his wrist in your grip. âOf course I will.â, He said, kissing your knuckles before moving again. âBut first, you need water.â
And he was right. Your throat felt like a desert.
So, after Fred brought you a glass of water and something to eat, he rounded the bed and sat down. The mattress dipping just slightly under his weight.Â
You slowly turned, facing him as he laid down, his arms wrapping around your figure. Careful and slow so he wouldnât accidentally hurt you.
Normally, you wouldâve said something like âIâm not made out if glass, you knowâ or âPlease Fred, Iâm stronger than you think.â
But this time, you chose to let him. Let him cradle you as if you were his greatest treasure. Which you are.
And as you breathed in his soft scent and but your hand over his chest to feel his heartbeat, you chose to bask in the moment.Â
He didnât have to know the story of how you got injured yet. That was a problem for later. Now, all you wanted to do was feel his presence. His love you so deeply shared.
âI love Freddie.â, you whispered, closing your eyes as his arms pulled you closer. He pressed a kiss to your scalp.
âI love you too.â

you have never been insecure about the fact you were a beta. You were actually pretty glad.
You didnât have to worry about sudden heats, or ruts. About Alphas trying to mate while youâre just trying to go to the store. About covering scent glands or surpressing a heat so you could go outside.
The only thing you worried about was, that you might never find a partner.
Like, never. Not in a million years.
Thatâs why youâre so unbelievably happy when you and Katsuki confessed to each other.
youâve been a couple for almost a year now and life never had been better.
You still couldnât believe he liked you, he was an Alpha after all. A very proud one to be specific. But youâre not complaining.
But youâve always been unsure if you could give him what he needed.
Youâre not an Omega after all.
âIâm home!â, you exclaimed, stepping through the door of your apartment. Katsuki was staying over since his parents were on vacation at the same time your mother was away, and neither of you wanted to stay alone.
It was the perfect chance to spend time together.
You put the groceries down, raising an eyebrow when you didnât get a response. âKatsuki?â, you asked, curiosity filling your voice.
No answer, still.
You were getting worriedâquickly slipping out of your shoes and jacket before searching the house.
He wasnât in the kitchen or in the living room, so you went upstairs to check the rooms there. The bathroom was empty, just like the guest room where he was normally sleeping.
You always liked the idea of seperate rooms, because in case you get into a fight, both of you had your own spaces instead of having to share one room.
And if you ever felt like sleeping together, youâd have sleepovers.
âKatsu?â, You asked again, opening the door to your room. And, to your surprise, he was actually there.
The slight panic immediately fell from your shoulders, glad that he wasnât missing. But the worry somehow didnât leave.
You could see and hear his heavy breathing, his arms were wrapped around your body pillow and the pair of grey sweat pants you liked so much was the only thing he wore.
âKatsuki?â, You whispered as you reached the bed, trying to get a good look at his face.
When you raised a hand and brushed a few strands of his hair to the side, his body tensed, gripping the pillow tighter and grimacing just slightly.
He was awake, thatâs what you now knew, and the slight warmth coming from him didnât go unnoticed.
âBaby are you sick?â, You asked, placing your palm on his forehead. He was warm, hot even.
A groan left his throat and his red eyes opened at the touch.
The side gaze he gave you send a shiver down your spine. They were half lidded, red burning like fire and something else.
You sighed, âIâll get u something to drink.â
But when you wanted to turn around and leave the room again, a hand grabbed your wrist, keeping you from moving.
âKaââ, You gasped at the sudden pull at your arm, yanking you onto the bed in the blink of an eye.
Your back collapsed with the soft mattress and your head fell into the thick pillows with a low thumb. You felt the boy shift beside you, saw how he rose from his lying position in an instant to bend over your own body.
You gulped when his eyes locked onto yours. Immediately realizing that he was in fact, not sick.
He was in his rut.
A heavy breath left his chest and he lowered himself down until he was pressing your body down with his.
A blush crept up on your face as you felt his hard cock brushing against your thigh.
Your boyfriend groaned again, whispering out your name as his Temple pressed against yours.
âWhen did it start?â, You asked, voice low as he kissed along your jawline.
â30 minutes after you leftâŚâ, he pressed out the answer with a slight whimper. âCame crushing down on me like a fucking waterfall.â
A growl rippled through his chest and his head suddenly dipped, his nose burying in the crook of your neck. I heard him inhale deeply, felt his tongue on my skin and you pressed your eyes shut.
You could feel him thereâwhere your scent glands wouldâve been if you werenât a betaâand felt how he tried to catch just the slightest smell of a scent.
A scent you didnât have.
âKatsuâŚâ, You mumbled, biting your bottom lip as he kept on desperately searching for the pheromones.
You hated it.
Not the way Katsuki was all over you, no. But the fact that you didnât have what he was searching for.
And in moments like these, you suddenly hated being a beta.
Katsuki started to lift his body up again, his head not leaving your neck. He supported himself with his knees and elbows, sliding an arm underneath your back.
Forget it, you thought, Itâll be fine
you wrapped your arms around his neck, burying one of your hands in his hair.
Just forget it
A whine escaped Katsuki, it wasnât loud enough for someone from outside the door to hear it. His frustration mirrored in his movements.
Still licking and smelling your neck as his hips humped against yours, trying to get enough satisfaction through his pants and your clothes as possible.
The tip of his Cock rubbing at your clit, promising something filthy.
âShit, Baby.â, He grunted, moving back to rub his temple against yours. âI need you.â
You would lie if you said you werenât turned on by his behaviour. âYouâre soâneedy when youâre in your rut.â, you breathed, grinning at him.
He grit his teeth, not stopping his dry humping against you as you felt his cock getting harder.
âFuck, I am.â
A/n: so⌠yâall want a part 2?

His first priority | Maul opress x reader
Pairing: Maul Opress x Pregnant!reader
Summary: As you wait with Maulâyour partnerâand his syndicate for the ship that would get you off planet, something else causes a delay
warnings: Angst/comfort, fluff, Reader is like a few months pregnant, protective Maul, Soft Maul, kinda ooc Maul, Reader is a former Jedi, Violence, fighting, choking (not the fun way)
authors note: I normally hate pregnancy stuff but I couldnât help but daydream ts so Iâm making it a one shot
word count: idk
Never would you have thought that youâd be a sithâs partner one day.
That this very sith was Maul Opress and that youâd built a weird little life with him.
And now, as you stood on the platform from which a ship is supposed to get you off planet, your heart beat quickened just slightly while your hand rested on your slightly swelled belly.
A shiver ran down your spine at the thought of the life growing inside you and you closed your eyes, feeling the unease creep up your chest.
Now that the Empire is here, it isnât safe to stay on Janix anymore, especially for you. As a former Jedi and soon to be mother whose partner is no other than Darth Maul, things are getting heated.
Your other hand fidgeted with the lightsaber on your hip, tracing the marks that came from years of fighting.
âSomething is bothering you.â
His deep voice made you look up. Maulâs eyes were trained on your face but they eventually flicked down to the hand on your belly.
You clearly remember the day you found outâboth of youâand the relief that washed over you when he didnât abandon you because of it had been the thread you were holding onto for the past few months.
Maul could easily sense your stress through your shared force bond.
âIâm worried, Maul.â, you whispered, watching as the mandalorians carried their stuff onto the platform.
When you felt his consciousness brushing at your through the force, you let him in. Let him read your mind because that was easier than trying to put your worries into words.
His hand reached out from behind his back and slowly put it over yours, head tilting just slightly. âThere is no need for your fear.â, he spoke, voice as calm as ever.
You grimaced, opening your mouth to say something when your throat suddenly tightened. The words died on your tongue, gasping for air when the invisible force grip cut it off.
Your eyes widened, realizing what was happening.
Your hands shot up, clawing at your neck in desperation.
Maul realized just as quickly as you did. His hands shot up to cradle your head, looking around frantically to search for the cause.
Meanwhile, dots started to blur your vision, tears forming in your eyes. âMaulââ, you choked, staring at him in horror.
Then, Maulâs yellow eyes locked onto a figure far behind you, a growl bubbling out of his chest as he grabbed his lightsaber and threw it at the cloaked figure.
It was suffocating, you believed that youâd pass out right then and there when you suddenly heard the clash of lightsabers.
The grip ariund your throat disappeared almost immediately.
You collapsed, feeling Maulâs firm grip around your arm to slow your fall as he catched his lightsaber again.
Gasping for air, you felt your body going weak, âMaulâŚâ
âDonât move.â, he spoke quickly, worrying about your current state, but there was no time, the Inquisitor attacked.
Maul stood as close to you as possible, shielding you with his body and his saber.
You only heard pieces of their conversation.
âLook at you.â, The Inquisitor spat, jumping forward to strike his lightsaber to your head but Maul was faster. He blocked the lightsaber with his own only inches away from your head.
The warm red spread over your skin.
âAttached to someone like that.â, Tge Inquisitor looked down at you and your lightsabers, scoffing under his mask.
âHow deep did you fall.â
Maul growled in response, pushing him back with the force while moving protectively infront of you again. âI did not fall.â, he defended himself and you, âIâm not sitting at his feet like a lost puppy following orders.â
That mustâve angered the Inquisitor because he charged forward once again, faster this time.
Your frantic gasping turned into heavy, controlled breathing as you tried to collect yourself, your hands cradling your belly.
Then, the force sparked.
âNo!â
Within seconds your lightsaber shot into your right hand, the blade whirring to life as it glowed a bright (l/c).
You pulled it above your head, deflecting the red lightsaber just in time as it threatened to cut off your head.
You grit your teeth, letting out a muffled scream as you stared up at the Inquisitor.
âJedi.â, his hiss was low and dangerous.
Maul pulled himself back up onto the platform. He almost slipped off it when the Inquisitor shoved him away with the force.
He was more than reliefed to see that your skills and instincts as a Jedi were something to rely on, otherwise he never wouldâve forgiven himself leaving you defenseless like that in your current state.
When the Inquisitor started to shift his weight, you reached out, pulling your second lightsaber into your free hand with the force and ignited it before your opponent could stop you.
Then, you hissed, striking it into his unguarded leg which caused him to stumble and jump back.
âGet lost.â, you mumbled strained, breathing hard as you kept your eyes on him, ready to defend yourself again if needed.
But Maul was faster than the Inquisitor in front of you. He was just a blur of black and white when he rushed past you, right at the enemy with fresh rage bubbling in his chest.
He overwhelmed the cloaked man with powerful strikes that didnât leave time for himself to attack.
âMy Lady!â, Rook exclaimed, voice slightly panicked as she rushed over to you. âAre you alright?â
You didnât react right away, just watched as your partner completely overpowered his enemy.
âIâm okay.â, you said then, letting the blades of your lightsabers retreat and putting them back to your hip. âBe so nice and help me up.â
It didnât take long for the Inquisitor to turn around and flee, knowing that he couldnât physically compete with Maul and his own injured leg.
âCoward.â, Rook just spat as she watched, her grip around your arm firm to do as you asked. âYou got a good hit at him.â
You huffed, straightening as you stood on your feet again. âI guessâŚâ
Within seconds, Maul stood at your side once again, shooting Rook a quick glance before taking in her position. âAre you alright?â
The corner of your mouth quirked up, not really in the mood to answer the same question twice, but you did anyway. âIâm alright. Thank you.â
For a second too long, Maul searched your face. Trying to find any sign of visible lie or strain in your features. âMaul.â, you spoke, stepping closer and putting a light hand on his chest. âIâm alright.â
Maul nodded after a second of hesistance, eye twitching as he saw purple bruises bloom on your throat just above the neck of your robe.
His hand rose, his fingers faintly touching your neck as he let the force flow through you, healing the bruises as much as he could.
âWe will have to get you to a healer.â
You couldnât disagree, after all you knew how bad the injury must look. Not to forget that the moment of missing air couldâve caused damage to the growing life inside you.
Even if that wasnât the first thing Maul worried about.
Because he always thought about you. His first priority.
And nothing would ever change that.

He's actually gorgeous wtf
Youâre mine now | Satoru Gojo x reader
pairing: Satoru Gojo x reader
Summary: You were mostly alone as a crewmate, trusting no body in the knowledge anyone could be one of the impostors. Things change drastically when you decide to stick close with the only crewmate you could trust, but for how long?
warnings: Soft Satoru, Yandere Satoru, possesive Satoru, shy!reader (kinda), Nickname âbabyâ, gore (kinda), blood, stabbing, knifes, no nsfw (yet),
authors note: I feel like this is pretty short, yes this is an Among us AU, Iâve been playing a lot lately and just couldnât stop my mind from creating this bullshit
words count: idk
You sighed when you looked at your datapad. the word Crewmate lit up your face in a blue glow. Your hands trembled just slightly as you put the datapad back into the pocket of your spacesuit, grabbing your helmet from the table of your room.Â
Before leaving your room, you adjusted your accessories, getting your trembling under control as you did. âLetâs go then.â, you muttered, stepping out of the open door of your room and towards the cafeteria. Your helmet already on your head.
You didnât even dare to look at your other crewmates as everyone stood around the main table of the cafeteria. Well, the eleven other crewmates and the remaining 3 Impostors.
Then, the game started and everyone started moving. You yourself quickly seperated yourself from the others, moving towards the MedBay where youâd start to check the samples. If only there wasnât already standing someone at the monitor.
You gasped lowly, surprised that you werenât alone. After all, you couldâve sworn everyone headed to Admin to swipe their cards.Â
âWhoa hey!â, your crewmate called out, voice bright and positive, stopping you from turning around and leaving. You froze.Â
Whiteâs bright blue eyes looked at you through his visor, grinning his usual grin. Satoru Gojo. He was a very good Teammate, at least, when heâs on your side.Â
âHiâŚâ, you mumbled, forcing a cautious smile as you felt yourself moving towards him.Â
âI was just about to do my scan! Mind watching?â, He spoke, his gloved fingers moving over the keyboard of the monitor.
Your eyebrows furrowed, realizing that maybe he was one of you if he asked to watch his scan.
Or heâs gonna kill me while watching him
You hated that possibility, knowing that you basically had no choice than to do as he says. âSure, step forward.â, You nodded, seeing his grin widen as he jumped on the pad.Â
You watched, your nervousness turning into relief when you saw the green scan move over his body and recording all his data on the monitor behind him. âThank god.â, you sighed, shoulders slumping. âYou are clear.â
âWhat, worried Iâd backstab you?â, Gojo joked, stepping down from the pad the second the scan finished, but his grin faltered when he realize the joke didnât stick.
âRightâŚâ, he said, scratching the back of his head through his suit. âWell, If you want⌠We can stick together.â
You listened up at his words, trying to find a lie in his bright blue eyes, but there was none. And why shouldnât you trust him if he just cleared himself?
âSure.â
So you sticked together. Moving side by side through the space ship as you worked on your tasks.Â
Your nerves were on edge, unease growing with every body that got reported and discussed about. You found yourself more times in the cafeteria for a meeting instead of the places you had to go for your tasks.
Beside you, Satoru was re-filling the lower engine with gasoline, strong arms holding the can as the display showed the fill status.Â
While he let out a few curses and grunts, you stood silently. Fidgeting with your fingers as you waited for him to finish. You knew that eventually the Impostors would get to you soon, now that the crew lowered in size.Â
Satoru seemed to notice your unease, looking at you with a flicker of worry in your eyes. âHey.â, He spoke, setting the can down on the ground.Â
Your eyes flicked back to him.Â
âYou good?â
The question caught you off guard. The worry in his eyes caused a warm feeling to crawl up your chest. But still, you shook your head. âNot really.â
Satoru rose back to his full height, towering over you. âListen.â, he said, stepping closer and putting a hand on your shoulder. âWeâre gonna survive this, It is only a matter of time until the last two impostors make a mistake and we throw them out.â
Your eyes darted from his to the ground and back to him again, taking a deep breath. âAre you sure?â, you mumbled, hearing him snort. âOf course I am, baby. And if not Iâm gonna protect you myself.â
His nickname for you made your heart beat faster in your chest, making your cheeks flush. You just laughed, daring to lean into him just slightly which made his eyes widen in surprise. But you didnât see. You just focused on the beat of his heart through his suit and managed to calm your nerves.Â
âAlright.â
Eventually, your crew managed to throw the two lasting impostors out after they had tried a double kill in communications, leaving you to win with 5 lasting crew members.Â
It wasnât the best number, after all you lost more people than you saved, but you were glad that you made it out alive. Just as Gojo did.Â
âYou did great, by the way.â, you smiled shyly, tugging at the white colored sleeve of Gojos space suit. He looked down at you, helmet tucked under his arm as he grinned widely. âYou did too! Finished your tasks way quicker than I did.â
Yeah, you were quick when it came to solving your tasks. A fact you liked a lot. âThanksâŚâ
Slowly, the number of people rose again, reaching the full fifteen in only a few minutes. The roles would be assigned soon which meant you needed to head back to your room.Â
When the white haired male started to turn to do just that, you raised your voice again.
âOh and Gojoââ
But you didnât get to finish.Â
âCall me Satoru.â
It caught you off guard, but you still smiled when you realised what it meant. Friends. âOkay, Satoru.â, you nodded, âSee you soon.â
Or maybe you felt a little more for your white crewmate
Just like always, your hands trembled when you held your datapad. Not knowing what to hope for as you waited for your new role. You donât know what you hated more, the numbing fear of dying as a crewmate, or the weird feeling of violence and adrenaline spreading through your veins as impostor.
I wonder what role Satoru will get
The thought lingered in the back of your mind, making you bite down on your bottom lip. Over the past round, you started to become attached to him. Maybe you shouldnât, knowing that all of it could end with the swing of a knife, but you just canât help it.Â
The way Satoru carried himself calmed you. His effortless jokes and the kind positive energy that surrounded him made you forget your pounding heart. Not to forget that he was insanely attractive.Â
Once again, the word Crewmate made your face light up blue and a sigh escaped you, relief washing over you especially when the following role was Engineer. That meant you had way more possibilities than just running around and finishing your tasks.
But what about Satoru then?Â
You wondered, furrowing your eyebrows before you pulled on your helmet and put the datapad in your pocket. You took a deep breath, flexing your hands.Â
Iâm gonna figure something out
When you stood at the cafeteria table once again, you let your gace wander. Feeling a little more confident than last time, especially when you saw the same white space suit of Satoru who stood a few spots beside you.
You smiled, wanting to wave at him but didnât when he kept his visor pointed on the table surface. Your head tilted in suspicion and worry at once.
Maybe he just doesnât want to draw attention?
A poor excuse, even for you. But you didnât question further, only waiting until you could start moving.
A few seconds, then you knew you could go, turning towards Satoru and attempting to walk to him, but your vision was crowded by the other crewmates making their way through the cafeteria in a chaotic but somehow orderly move.
After that, you were alone in the Cafeteria. Completely alone.Â
Satoru nowhere to be seen.
He probably went with the others to swipe his cardâŚ
Which he, in fact, did. But not how you imagined it.Â
Just like always, you headed in the direction of the medbay first.
Iâm gonna look for him later
Which you did. After fixing the Wires in Storage and downloading the data from the ship on your datapad, you rushed inside the vent of Admin, crawling in the direction of the Navigation cockpit.Â
These are so tight⌠How do the impostors move so fast through theseâŚÂ
You questioned, groaning as you climbed back out in the cockpit. You were surprised to see lime there, hunched over the desk to redirect the direction of our ship. Normally, you wouldnât even approach, but you knew Lime was clear. After all he helped you clear the asteroids earlier.
You quickly closed the lid again, looking around to fix the wires there when you heard Lime raise his voice. âglad to see youâre still alive.â, he grinned, looking at you over his shoulders as he finished his task.Â
You nodded. âYeah, same.â
He was shorter than Satoru, but bulkier in size, probably a gym person before he got here. You couldnât really make out his face because of his cracked visor, but you didnât have to.Â
âIf we make it outta here alive, wanna go grab a coffee with me?â, he asked then, making you raise your eyebrows. You knew Lime showed some kind of interest in you, but didnât realize that it was that type of interest.
You cleared your throat, not knowing what to say. Especially because you had not even the tiniest bit of interest in the man in front of you. âWeâll see.â, you smiled then, watching him grin before he heads out into the hallway.
What a weirdo
You thought amused, shaking your head as you finished fixing the wires when you suddenly heard voices in the hallway down towards shields.
One of them being unmistakably Satorus.Â
Your eyes lit up, a smile growing on your face as you moved towards the voices. And there he was. Tall, lean, arms loose at his sides as he talked to Lime.Â
âSatoru!â, You exclaimed, but obviously not loud enough because Satoru didnât react. The only thing you saw him do was how his hand slowly moved into his pocket, pulling something out that wasnât his datapad.
âWhatâŚâ, you mumbled, steps faltering as an uneasy feeling clawed at your chest. Everything happened tok fast after that.
The light of the hallway reflected on the knife in Satorus hand which was raised high, coming down in an inhuman speed.
The sickening sound of flesh being torn apart echoed from the walls.
Blood splashed into the air and painted Satorus space suit red.
His victim didnât even get the chance to scream as he stabbed his knife into his body several times in a row, the body landing on the ground with a thud.
You gasped and clasped your hands over your mouth in shock.Â
Your body trembled.
But this time, you were too loud. Watching as Satoru turned towards you in his blood stained space suit, the eyes behind his visor dark and dangerous.Â
You couldnât read his face. Didnât know how much time he needed until he could kill again.Â
You only knew that you didnât want to believe it.
Tears started to fill your eyes, your body freezing from the shock of what youâd just witnessed.
Then, when Satoru took a few steps forward, you moved back, tripping over your own feet and landing on the ground. âSatoruâŚâ, you choked, voice trembling just like your body did as you scrambled back.Â
He stopped just slightly, his face twisting into a somewhat sorry expression. But the blood covered knife still stayed in his hand as he moved again. âBabyâŚâ, he said, his voice filled with pity.Â
âNo, donât come near me.â, You gasped, but your back hit the wall, preventing you to move any further.
Midway, Satoru came to his knees, almost Crawling his way to you. âBaby Iâm sorry.â, he said with a voice youâd use for children⌠Or Partners who were mad at you for not saying I love you back.
The Blood dripped down onto the ground, leaving a trail where Satoru was moving towards you until he stopped right in front of you. His eyes were the ones of a murderer, yes, but what he felt towards you wasnât bloodlust.
It was devotion. Dangerous devotion.Â
The one that screamed at you to stay away if you wanted to life a peaceful life but also pulled you in at the same time.Â
You couldnât help but cry. Cry out of fear as you stared into Satorus beautiful, darkened eyes.
âI know, I know.â, Satoru whispered, hand reaching out and grabbing your hand. âBut you donât have to be scared.â
âIâ Donât kill me⌠Pleaseââ, It was just a breathy plead, something you wouldnât say out loud if you werenât so shocked.Â
âOh no.â, Satoru shook his head, âno, no, no.â, he pulled your trembling body to his, his hand at the back of your head as he pushed it against his chest. âDonât you remember what I said?â
You couldnât help but tremble harder, fear clouding your mind as you stared at the body that still layed dead on the ground of shields.Â
âIâm gonna protect you myself.â, he suddenly repeated his words, but the pity in his voice shifted into something darker. âAnd Iâm gonna kill everyone who dares to even look at you.â
Your breath hitched, placing your hands on his chest as you slowly pushed yourself away to look up into his face.Â
He was so different than the last time you saw him. The softness in his eyes had now a crazy edge and his aura went from kind to muderous.
âAfter all, thatâs what I did with Lime after he came out of Navigation.â, he growled with a grin that was too crazy for your liking.
âYou listened?â, you asked, eyes growing big.
âOf course I did baby.â, he grinned, âdonât think I left you alone this whole time.â
Thatâs when it hit you.Â
You didnât find him anywhere before this because he was with you this whole time.Â
He stalked you. Watched over you.Â
You didnât know if that was attractive or scary as fuck.
âDonât worry baby.â, Satoru spoke once again, pulling you out of your thoughts as he   leaned in closer, his grip around your body tightening. âIâm not gonna let them take you from me.â
âYouâre mine now.â
Coolest thing I ever saw
