Last Friday (2/12), there was a NBA Celebrity game that Kris Wu (ex-member of EXO) participated in.  Despite not being well known to Westerners, he gained attention for his avid fans.  Some people went to the Internet to ask, who is this “Asian Justin Bieber?.”  

Therefore, I just wanted to ask questions about where that may stem from, what the meaning is, and who could be considered the “Asian Justin Bieber.”

Not much is known about his role but he will have “many scenes” with Vin Diesel and scenes with Deepika and Ruby Rose and he will have fight scenes according to the director:

The movie will be a sequel to Vin Diesel’s box office hit film in 2002, XXX.

This is Kris’ second Hollywood film after he was cast in Luc Besson’s Valerian and this is his ninth movie.
