Just Imagine what could happen

Chapter 3

The madam came and saw the uncleaned mess by Y/n's table.

"Amlaruil Where would Y/n be?" Madam said with anger. "um, she went out to get more supplies yes?" Amlaruil  Said back in fear. The Madam glared harshly at her. "You know I don't like it when people lie to me Amlaruil now tell me where she went!" She Yelled stomping her foot "I'm waiting!"  "Oh I don't really know but I am guess she went out into the halls." Amlaruil  Squeaked out. "Damn that Y/n" as The Madam left the kitchen running after the Smaller girl.

Y/n made a run through the walls trying to escape the never ending tunnels. Soon it was getting harder to breath for she was running out of breath. so Y/n stopped for a minute resting her hands on her knees panting as started resting, Feeling at peace for one.

All peaceful feelings were irrupted by sounds of light foot steps and a yell that sent shivers down her back.

"Y/n where are you!" The Madam Screamed through the tunnels.

A wave of fear went through her. So she bolted out into the halls filled with many servants and guests.  She tried dodging many them while sprinting through the halls.

But she could feel the Madam catching up on her so she forced herself to go faster.

Y/n's breathing began becoming weak, She started to slow down each time her feet hit the ground so in worry she turned sharply into a hall. While doing so she turned to look behind her was the Madam of the kitchen looking more mad then ever. Y/n gave her a panicked face but didn't look back in time She was too late

She slammed into a being sending both of them to the floor.

The bag the being was carrying spilled out everywhere Both of them groaned out in pain. but Y/n was the one to act quick, Spewing out words in apology. "Oh my goodness Sir I am so sorry! I didn't mean to slam into you! please forgive me." Putting her head down in shame and fear.

The madam was not to far behind when she stopped and gasped at the sight.

The prince of Mirkwood was trying to get up and Y/n was on the floor still as a rock.

"My Prince!" The Madam said bowing her head and kneeling.                                                                                        'The Prince!?' Yelled Y/n in her mind when she glanced up for a minute and saw a Young man with beautiful long Platinum hair and piercing blue eyes. Indeed that was the Prince of Mirkwood.

'Oh my Valar it's the King's son' Y/n thought out in panic while bowing. and saying once more "Please my Prince accept my apology I didn't mean to hurt you, here let me help you pick these things up!." As Y/n began to scramble around the floor picking as many things up as she can.

"No please It's alright I should have looked where I was going" He said looking down at the young shorter girl.

He crouched down to help pick up stuff when their eyes met His blue ones piercing her e/c ones but Y/n immediately shifted hers to the floor, head hanging in shame once more.

The Prince frowned, he was about to ask if she was okay when other maid said out in out anger "Don't accept her apology my Prince. let me take her back to the kitchen for a punishment."

Y/n froze while she packed up of the fallen items. but the Prince spared her a glance 'Poor girl' he thought

"There is no need for such a thing, It was just a accident" The Prince said sternly

Y/n sighed in sadness all those things they said about her were true as she walked her way to the supplies and started working.

She gathered ingredients to bake fresh bread and Sweets for the upcoming guests arriving soon. She mixed the bowl full of ingredients at a slow pace as she thought of her mother.

Mother gave her away to the madam for she could not take care of the baby herself. and disappeared without a word. Leaving the young girl in the hands of a cold hearted women.

'Goodness Naneth Why did you have to leave me?' Y/n thought in sadness. "Good morning Y/n!" Said Amlaruil with a smile. Bringing Y/n out of her sad thoughts "Ah, Hello Amlaruil how are you" Y/n said back looking up at the tall maiden.  Amlaruil is a Friend  of y/n's Even though there was quite a height difference. "You know Amlaruil..It would be so nice to get out of here" Y/n sadly said with a frown as She mentioned the kitchen. "I know but that's not a good idea Madam will be mad!"Amlaruil Said worryingly.

"Ahh alright whatever you say" Y/n said signed. 'It wouldn't hurt to get out for fresh air' she thought longingly

"Come on lighten up"Amlaruil said. "Well I guess your right Amlaruil I should just keep a fake smile on while mixing my bowl/" Y/n said frowning.   Amlaruil looked down at her smaller figure  "Aw, come on Y/n".  

There was a moment of silence.                                                                                                                                        

"Do you like baking?" Y/n asked out of the blue.  Amlaruil Smiled and leaned forward on the counter and said "I use to bake Why do you ask?"  "Oh just asking" Y/n smiled back as she stopped mixing her bowl leaning forward, Sparring the door that leads out to the halls a glance. '

This is my only chance to make a run for it!'   "Maybe you should try it again soon!" "Oh i wouldn't say soon!" Amlaruil said laughing. "Here mix this bowl! while I get another, pretty please!" Y/n said handing it out to her. Amlaruil was stunned at the shorter women. "Oh um alright?" she grabbed the bowl from y/n. Amlaruil looked away at the window mixing the bowl of dough. "You know Y/n I am happy you gave me this bowl it brings back memory's " Amlaruil said smiling But it soon formed into a frown when she was left with no response. "Um Y/n??" she turned around expecting a the young girl to gathering supplies but she was gone.

"Oh valar Y/n the madam will be here soon please come back!"  

Y/n is a simple maid to the King of Mirkwood.

She worked in the kitchen for the rest of the staff hide her from the King and Prince for she was sought out to be a disgrace for being a Elf and Human Hybrid but what if she finds a chance to go have fun and escape the kitchen what will happen?.

The morning sun was rising onto the horizon chasing away the shadows that lurked in the darkness

Most of Elf's of Mirkwood were asleep. but Y/n was already awake and getting ready for the long day ahead of her like most servant's alike.

Y/n sighed as she threw on her simple green dress. She looked at herself in the mirror and  wished that she wore a beautiful gown with shinning beads and smooth silk fabric,

She could just imagine what her life would be if she were royal so her imagination got the best of her.

  Y/n was admiring her window view of the Mirkwood palace. her maid was looking for a gown for the Starlight ball and pulled out this beautiful midnight blue gown with silver beading along the trim. "Oh M'lady look at this one" The maid said  Y/n smiled and made her way to the "This is the one thank you, " Y/n said with a grin. "Come on now we must hurry The ball is awaiting" The Maid said in a hurried tone. "Oh yes. of course" Y/n said smiling at her.

Y/n was all dressed and ready for the ball when there was a knock at the door. 'I wonder who that could be. I don't remember requesting anymore help.' Y/n thought. "Who's there?" Y/n asked as she neared. "it's me Prince-"

Before she could imagine anymore her dreams were cut short  by a knock at the door "Y/n, get over here! you must go down the kitchens!" The madam of the kitchen madly yelled from the opposite side of the door. 'Ugh, right when it was getting good' Y/n thought, frustrated as she trudged out the door and into the path's following the madam to the kitchens

The madam and Y/n made it to the kitchens where the Elf's were working and making food for the Royalty and guests. "Goodness Y/n what has gotten into you?" the madam said, Before you could answer back someone already did. "Oh I bet she was stuck in her fantasies with the prince!" A servant said in a sarcastic tone. "T-that's not true!" Y/n yelled in defence "You know what's funny is that she's never even seen him!" Another said laughing as they moved on to other work. "Listen here Y/n Under no circumstances will you go out of the kitchen. they mustn't see you!" Madam said narrowing her eyes at Y/n. "And why not!" Y/n snapped back. "because you are a disgrace! you are a Human and Elf cross. clearly not worthy to be looked upon the King and Prince!" Madam said gripping her arm roughly, "Now get to work!" she yelled. Pushing the saddened girl through the kitchen doors.
