Why are they living in a cabin again?

Cuz in canon Jasper is well, living in the woods. It would only make sense that after a few years- and Steven being more of a diamond again, Steven would be able to convince her to let them set up a cabin for her.

Ik IAMD is discontinued but is this au still alive?

At the moment its most likely not begin continued, since we have no motivation to work on it- even though i love the characters I [kenji] made for it [like Mookaite, Kunzite, Crystal, Rubalite] Love the Fusions i made but Im not into SU anymore and am pursuing my animation career and YT. And I wouldn't feel comfortable giving my characters over to someone else. So yea its probably not going to continue.
