Now that we know the head made it to Castle Town, people have been speculating about Tenna potentially using it as a coping tool for his broken relationship with Spamton, usually by using the head or an Addison wearing the head as a substitute for the affection he would have received from him. These cover the gamut from sad to sweet to, um, quite gross, frankly.

But, I worry that Tenna isn’t just using the head as a comfort object or a substitute for Spamton’s affection. I’m afraid that he might have something more…shall we say violent in mind.

Remember, the first time we saw this head was during a mini game where Tenna was flat-out ordering us to beat the shit out of it.

The next time we see it is in Chapter 5 if we haven’t given Tenna away, at which point it’s shown that Tenna is going a little stir-crazy.

Take another look at Tenna’s default animation in that room when you’re not talking to him.

That’s his battle animation. The same he uses during his boss fight at the end of Chapter 3.

In light of that, the dialogue from the blue Addison (the one actually wearing the head) comes across as pretty ominous.

In light of all this, I think it’s pretty likely that this Addison is about to get their ass kicked. Which might be kinda funny, but I’m worried about how far it’ll go. Like, are we gonna have to clean up a body in Chapter 6 if we don’t give up Tenna?

I’ve noticed this tendency people have in general to idealize what Tenna’s relationship with Spamton was like and soften his reaction to their falling out, emphasizing emotions like longing and regret. But while those emotions are very much present, there’s another that shippers sometimes neglect: RAGE.

Yes, he misses him. Yes, he grieves for him. But there’s another part of him, a very prominent part, that’s just rip-roaring pissed at him.

I named the Addisons after their colors in Defrag because otherwise I couldn't remember who was who so all the color names in Chapter 5 felt weird to me, haha. It turns out they're all slightly different shades from each other! Well not slightly for Blue lol.

Tenna has learned NOTHING from his previous relationship with Spamton. Actually he has gotten worse, instead of moving on, he forces Blue into the same position in hopes that he will fill the Spamton shaped hole in Tennas heart.

Blue is thrilled at first, because at the end of the day every Addison dreams about becoming a Big Shot after all!!

It all goes downhill when he realizes that Tenna tries to mold him into something he isn't and also how possessive Tenna can become.

However by the time Blue realizes this, he's too far into Tennas' schemes. Blue pushed the other Addisons away and may or may not have signed the wrong contract. Not only is he obligated to stay but Tenna would surely end him if he left.

The other Addisons have learned something from the previous situation. Other than when Spamton left them, they only show love and support for Blue... They can't help but worry about him.
