First heard this tune as a sample for Bansheebeat & Yung Bae’s Summer VI (awesome song as well) but randomly picked this album (Pacific) from my Youtube “recommended” list and heard the original on there. Funkmosphere 10+1 Year Anniversary Live Mixes

Godfather of the modern funk revival, Dam - Funk, heads up an excellent all funk, all vinyl dance party every Thursday at the Virgil in Los Angeles. They recently got together to celebrate their 11 year anniversary at the Standard and lucky for us, they recorded their sets. I know what I’m gong to be listening to for the next few days. Enjoy!

Couldn’t find any tube videos that had it cut up so I can highlight specific track and the album is meant to be enjoyed by listening to it as a whole anyway (at least IMO) so here is the entire thing. The way the uploader used the time marks is kind of funny so you can’t link to certain parts of the album but it’s all good anyway so just listen to the whole thing. Highlights for me are Bahia Dreamin’, Cheap Suite 5, and Suite Poetry. Enjoy!
