A humble interdimensional restaurant thatâs based off of this anime called Isekai shokudou.
The food served there is mostly Vietnamese food.
The actual building is somewhere in the quieter part of ebott city. Luminaâs family owns the diner. (This version of Lumina is more like a self insert oc)
Itâs also somewhat sentient, kinda like Peony from Barbieâs fairytopia movie. It communicates by creaking floorboards or jingling the bell at the front door
On the 2nd day since opening, their front door had magically split (unseen) & appeared simultaneously in many different aus twice every week.
No one knew how or why this happened. Poca suspected it mightâve been because of the very strange yet familiar fae that had visited.
The diner only opens on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in their universe. (Despite their area being a place lots of people donât really visit.)
Thereâs just enough customers to keep the diner afloat. (If there hadnât been the customers of alternate universes as well.)
Some of the monsters from different aus work there too. Just on Saturday and Friday though, since the door only appears on those days.
The restaurant closes on Sundays & Mondays
Everyone uses a nickname to address each other. Makes things less confusing. Especially when a monster and their counterpart meet.
Theyâre always open to hiring new staff. (The pay is 28$/g every hour)
Each table has a glyph carved into the table that protects the customer(s) seated there. Though, it looks more like a table design rather than a protection spell to outsiders.
All staff + Poca, wear a custom warding mask as a precaution.
They donât necessarily need to keep it on their face. As long as theyâre wearing it in some way.
Warding from what you ask? Well, having a door that often splits into spaces in different universes can attract some interesting beings near closing time.
Lumina: [naiad & human] Sheâs a waitress. Is often nervous & reserved with new customers, but doesnât let it show. If you come visit & interact with her often enough, sheâll be more open with you.
Is often seen sketching new dessert ideas/designs on either slow days or her break time.
Tiáșżn Minh/James (Dad): [human healer mage] Usually a shy, if not polite man. Is an entirely different person when in his element and a speedy cook. His speed doesnât reduce the foodâs quality somehow. (Aria is always impressed by it.)
Aria (Mom): [naiad] a chef who specializes in seafood dishes. Graceful in technique & looks, but is quite lively in contrast. (Her skills is one of the things he admires about her.)
Romilda (Aunt): [willow dryad] Whoâs aunt? WellâŠsheâs someoneâs aunt. A lively cook whoâs always up to try new dishes & experimenting food combinations.
Kaden (Uncle): [human???] A gentle, if stoic waiter & adopted brother of Tiáșżn. Hasnât quite gotten the hang being able to speak full sentences in English yet, but still communicates just fine. (Always wears a black ring on his middle finger.)
Poca (cousin): [fae] doesnât work there (isnât old enough anyways), but customers often find them to be good company. Always recommending people desserts made by their cousin.

Crystal (swap au): [snowdrake] working part-time as a waitress. Since she already works as a stand-up comedian at the hotel/resort from her univers.
Sorsha (outerfell au): [shyren] Mainly helps in food prep. and cooking the simpler dishes. Occasionally acts as security. Used to be a lot stricter & meaner with the others to cover her nervousness, but learned to ease up and relax around the family. Not so much around the customers though, but sheâs civil with them. (If she has to talk with them for whatever reason anyways.)
Wish-wosh: [woshua] helps with keeping the place clean and an efficient janitor to boot. But has difficulty washing dishes & utensils. So they leave that to their twin.
Swish-swosh: [woshua] younger twin of Wish-wosh. Has better dexterity to wash dishes, cups, & utensils.
(Poca and Lumina even made them both a âjanitors of the yearâ picture frame for them to keep. As thanks for staying back to help clean so much, even when they donât have to.)
