Because you’re not even 16 and that’s not how things work, Devin. You’re 15 years-old. You don’t need to be out drinking. One, you’re jeopardizing your career and two, it’s illegal! Do you not understand that?! And don’t even get me started about the boyfriend thing. That’s a totally different topic!

What career? The one that you’re basically sabotaging? No, I don’t understand I don’t care to anymore! I just want to be left alone if this is what’s on the table. If I don’t want to eat and be whatever bullshit weight that you and some stranger who doesn’t know me come up with then I won’t! It’s my body. And what boyfriend are you talking about? I don’t have a boyfriend. WHo told you all of this? Was it Mal? I’m going to kill her. She’s not old enough to be drinking either! I don’t see you parenting her!

You know, I hate to do this. But ease up on your mom. She works her ass off to make sure that you have everything. Give her a break.

Oh, whatever. No one’s discrediting that she does a lot. I literally just want her to leave me alone. 

I once binge-watched Netflix in the backseat of our car when we took a road-trip, watching something with the kids. Let me tell you, Sebastian’s driving and a brightly colored, fast-moving show was not a good combo.

I couldn’t do that. I need a certain mood to set my Netflix watching.

It’s what I do. I’m like a magic 8 ball but with actually good advice. Besides the heart attack you’re going to give your mother? Sure. Just make sure to give her a warning when you end up hitched in Vegas.

I’ll keep that in mind. I’m really unconcerned with anything that has to do with my mother now and for the foreseeable future.

See, that’s not going to work either. We have a big problem here because from what I hear, you not only lied to me but you also decided to go out and get so drunk that people are talking about it. That’s not how you’re going to behave and that’s unacceptable. Not to mention, you’re now grounded so we’re going to be seeing a lot of each other. Especially since you won’t be allowed outside the house unless your father or I am with you.

All of her assests won me over. Mostly for the Netflix, cuddles, and comfier bed. Is this about the not-boyfriend boyfriend?

That feeling definitely sucks, or especially when the other person isn’t with you right now.
