@motherfuckingbrotheroftheyear Remain by Ailill’s side and fight alongside him.
She understood why Naoise had to leave. After all, not only was Naoise and the princess important for their survival. In regards to the current events of the land, the knowledge of the current land and insight they would have typically no access to. But also, they had involved both within their situation, it would be wrong to not lend them protection.
Even if the two in questioned seemed to be against Rider, which was...confusing. Rider did not seem like a bad individual, perhaps...distant, and perhaps a touch violent when angered...still? That was, not odd in her time period, it was entirely normal from a man of status. Still, this was a singularity, so she best prepare herself. For now, no matter what anyone said, her team were her comrades and she would never doubt a single one of them.
The sound of the skeleton warriors was deafening, it was difficult to focus. The ground was shaking, if not becoming more intense by the minute. This was a problem, should their Master have truly made them engage? And yet the Ruler felt the disgusting book upon her waist, as if beckoning her to open it, to wield no. No. She, she did not need it! She was blessed by God, by the light of her faith and the light within her heart. She had no need for the dark arts, no matter how it stuck to her soul.
They were breaking in, and she noticed Rider glare towards her to take action. Watching him strike the maddened creature, she spoke within her native tongue to create a barrier of mana around the area. The focus, was to buff her comrades so to speak. A blessing, in other words. Allowing them to take more damage, and also healing them from damage. This was a tiring skill, as it covered the area. Then, she drew her blade.
“Master has my father to protect him, my father is better suited in defence than I, and Jeanne can escort the princess and the man out. I am not leaving your side, my father nor Jeanne would ever do such during their life.” Despite being aware this could anger the Rider, in good faith, she could not obey him. She would most likely slow her father down, his ranger was further than hers destructive wise. “I can assist in holding them off, so the others can escape.”
With that, she began to slice at the maddened creatures, her blade shimmering with a slight blessed light of a glow. She was agile, and better for support, she could help Rider fight for longer and boost him or heal him. Jeanne needed not that, and Gilles never allowed enemies to get close. She had to prevent the enemy from getting anywhere near the Master, or her father, so this was the best route.
