Things that got cut out: I had been planning to use some multiplayer lines such as "Are you sure you're on my level", "They're gonna regret the day they crossed me" and "The question isn't who's going to let me, it's who's going to stop me" to replace the part where Taylor is singing "I'm sorry the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now..." but Rafe's VO on the video was sufficient enough.

My general outline had the song blocked into Rafe vs all the different characters. The ending was obviously going to be against Nate. The blocking was surprisingly easy for this one. First half for Vargas and Sully, middle for Sam, and I wanted a flashback part for Nadine before the epic final fight for Nate.

First thing I knew I was going to do was at the very beginning to put the scene where Rafe appears in between the brothers in the Panama prison. It was a great introduction showing how he would come in between them.

My favorite part is when Rafe pistol slaps Sam. The sound fits very well with the music audio and it was one of the first scenes I could picture exactly where in the song I wanted it.

The hardest part was the ending where Rafe and Nathan are swordfighting. With all my videos I try to tell a story and having to make the fighting flow appear fluid enough but with enough of his quips packed in there was difficult. I really wanted to include his "you're just a sad little boy with delusions of grandeur" speech but there wasn't enough time.

Matching audio to the characters' mouths moving was challenging. Sometimes the video where they say the voiceover didn't match the flow of the scene so I kinda had to take other parts and match it instead. I hope that wasn't too jarring.

The song is from Nina's POV.

The first part I conceptualized was the first chorus because their first dance is really beautiful to me and I knew I could fit it in the "come around".

Next I tried to figure out which key scenes would go with the other "come around" choruses. From there I could figure out which scenes to put in the verses. I try to keep things more or less sequential because for this video I wanted it to tell their story.

I knew right away I wanted the "Can't you see you're my life" line to be their kiss.

The last part had to be Bahamut fight and last dance ofc.

Favorite part is "But you're the one, you're the one" with Chris' smile :D

The concept of this went very fast for me. The 3 choruses with "unstoppable" would have to be the fights. One against demons (in the end I went only with just Azazel and not with the other demon rebels), one against the gods where he used Dromos, and last against Bahamut ofc.

The first thing I did was the first fight and really the animation just lent itself to the lyrics of the first chorus. It was my favorite part. I rewatched it a lot of times before I continued making the rest of the parts. 0:39-1:16 makes me smile every time I watch it.

The second chorus sequence where Charioce goes against the gods... I wasn't sure if showing so much of Dromos was necessary, but I wanted to show how Charioce used it and to show how clean his hand was as compared to in the last fight where he has black lines on his hand and arm.

At 2:35 the transition from defeating the gods to Bahamut felt too abrupt but I couldn't figure where to put a sort of explanation to this new threat so relied on the video transition effect to show this was something new.

The boom clap parts were easy enough to figure out. They had to dance!

First part of them meeting at arm wrestling to the cave scene and dragon ride was supposed to be Nina's POV first.

Then "no silver or no gold" at 1:00 I knew I wanted the ball scene from Charioce's POV. Especially the "just tell me what to do" part where he walks towards her.

"You are the light" at 1:45 I wanted the festival scene in there with the Boom Clap parts of them dancing ofc.

Favorite part is 2:10 because Charioce draws Nina to dance with him in time to the beat of "come on to me come on to me" xD

I wasn't really satisfied with the ending. I didn't really know if I wanted to include the Bahamut part at 2:24. Especially since it was just going to be a super short part.

But having the final dance right after the festival... felt weird especially with Charioce's blindness.

This song is from Charioce's point of view.

The script of this video was easy for me. I wanted to have them meet and then Nina will discover Charioce is the king. Then of course he will tell her they can't dance again. The ending had to be their kiss scene so I took liberties with the timeline of the original anime ofc.

"You call to me" at 0:21 I knew I wanted to use the shot of Chris taking NIna's hand to lead her to their first dance.

Favorite part is easily 0:59 "(trying not to) love you" where Charioce looks at Nina so tenderly.

Second favorite is 3:14 at "(dying to tell) you" where Nina has a montage of thinking about Charioce/Chris.

Favorite part is 1:38. “I saw the world in an underwater vision” I knew I wanted to use the closeup of his eye. 

The easiest sequences to think of were “You go anywhere you want to” because ofc it’s going to be Nina.
