CANNIBALISTIC.

        -    outcasts     /     banished   ones.     the   lowest   of   the   low.     there   aren’t   many.    consuming   these   people   is   considered   a   saintly   move,    to   remove   them   from   hevect’a   altogether   as   their   existence   is   a   sin.   when   a   race   that   cannibalizes   their   own   banishes   u,   then   you   have   had   to   really   fuck   up.

       -    the   young   ones     /     children   -   young   adults.     devect’ans   are   the   most   powerful   when   they’re   young,    even   without   training.    as   they   grow,   they   lose   the   powers   they   were   born   with,   and   they’re   forced   to   train   and   absorb   power   through   cannibalizing   their   own   race   or   others   to   get   stronger.    this   is   one   of   the   reasons   why   children   are   told   to   hone   their   powers,    told   to   fight   for   their   planet   as   they   are   the   strongest   ones   there.    

       in   some   religions   on   the   planet,    it   is   an   irrational   scripture   that’s   told   that   is   a   sin   to   be   a   child.    they   are   often   sacrificed   to   the   gods   as   offerings.

      -    shamans.     another   sin.    speaking   to   the   gods   is   not   taken   easily.    it’s   viewed   as   disrespectful   to   bother   the   gods   or   any   sort   of   spirit.    most   were   killed   within   conflicts,   others   banished   and   hunted   down,   but   things   had   calmed   down   enough   to   allow   them   into   their   society.

     -    civilians.     devect’an   civilians   followed   devect’ans   laws   obediently   in   fear   of   being   banished,   fighting   amongst   themselves   often   and   committing   cruel   deeds   against   eachother.    they   are   called   into   battle   if   needed,   but   spend   their   lives   hunting   or   doing   their   jobs.
