"Sounds nice." Britt laughed and leaned over to kiss him. "Birthday sex huh? That any different than regular sex?" She climbed into his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck. "We do deserve some alone time. I'm sure she won't mind letting you have me to yourself for a few days. Besides she can't exactly take time off work right now. She just came back and is rightfully getting a massive push."

He had no idea what was going on at work and tried to work first and leave because things felt weird backstage. Britt seemed content to rehab and do the cons which meant less stress on her body. "Paige looked happy to be back at work and throwing herself into it but that just wasn't Max's mindset right now. "We do and it's been nice to have people get off our backs for awhile."

"I dont mind Paige coming with us but maybe adjoining rooms since you're getting birthday sex." He wiggled his eyebrows and leaned in kissing her. He wasnt trying to separate them but sometimes they needed alone time to just be a couple.
