Quinn pokes his arm. “I like your tattoos.”

Derek looks down at his arms. "Thanks. I like your, er, non tattoos?" 

"I know Hermes is best because you’re in it."

"Oh."

"Yeah, I heard you guys needed some help fixing this place and here I am. I mean, no one ever really calls a Nemesis kid when they need help, but if someone did something to you and you need help fucking them up, I’m your girl. A reformed psycho, huh? That explains a few of those stains, I guess. Cool, Derek. Who do you belong to?"

"So like, if I'm plotting some major revenge, you can help me? Because that would be pretty fuckin' awesome. Yeah, I mean I think he's reformed. Who knows where he is now. I'm a Hermes kid." 

"Yeah, no. I’m Delia, I keep this cabin pretty full. And who might you be?"

"You must be new, then. The only person that ever used to live here was this reformed psychopath dude, and you're much hotter than him. I'm Derek." 

"The door is closed for a reason. Do you need something?"

"Sorry, I thought this cabin was empty and I wanted a place to smoke. Who are you?"

"I know. You’re in it."

"What?"

Let’s face it, it’s the nicest thing I’ve ever said to you. And ever will, probably.

Come on Ophelia, my ego needs to be fed a compliment every five minutes. 

"Unclaimed, unfortunately. Mommy or daddy didn’t see me, I guess."

"I'm sure you'll get claimed soon enough. But whatever, the Hermes cabin is the fuckin' best cabin anyway."

"Good, that way I don’t have to move any of my stuff."

"Well fuck-- are you a Hermes kid too? Or just unclaimed?"

Mention of physical appearance. Right. Great reminder that people are shallow as hell. Though still, I don’t know about that. The humour bit I can understand.

I mean did you expect anything different? I'm offended, really. So you think I'm funny? That's the nicest thing you've said to me all day. 

Is it because you party a bit too much and you have weed for days?

Okay so maybe that's part of the reason why people like me so much. But it's also my devilishly handsome features and fuckin' great sense of humor. 

"Keep me where?"

"Dunno, I'd say my pocket, but that'd involve you somehow becoming small. I'll just keep you in the Hermes cabin to make me feel better about myself."

"I’m afraid you’re probably smarter than me, as well."

"I like you, I'm gonna keep you. You should teach Ophelia how to be nice to me."

"No, you just look really handsome."

"Oh. Well fuck, tell me something I don't know."
