ooc ┊ Just dropping in to say that I’ll be finishing up my about pages for Ryo either today or tomorrow! For now, reminder that I have my starter call HERE, which for now is open to anyone! I will write a starter even for non-mutuals! which will not always be a thing in the future, if at all.

Independent && semi-selective ASUKA RYO of DEVILMAN.

     ❈  A CURSORY GLANCE FROM THE BOY is all the strange man gets before cold eyes slide back to the colourful bird. He considers it with little fondness; it had bitten him, and therefore he did not care for it in the slightest. The hand tucked away and out of sight tightens an already iron grip around the small paper cutter knife that lives in the pocket of his trousers.

     Then it loosens, dropping the knife back down into the well of his pocket.

     ❝ Teach your bird not to bite people, mister. ❞  The language comes out somewhat slurred – the result of yet an unmastered language botched by heavy accent. The offer, however... his eyes trail to the aforementioned bandage in the man’s grasp. The child shakes his injured hand back and forth as if the movement might toss away the pain in his finger.

     He has no interest in continuing conversation with the other. A man who protects an aggressive animal with such irrational loyalty, despite the creature’s insistence on going out of its way to hurt his fellow humans, is not someone Ryo has any desire to know further.

     ... But his hand hurts. Narrowed blue eyes consider the plaster before the boy straightens where he stands, thrusting his hand upwards towards the man. 

ooc ┊ Hello, Devilman fandom (all..... five of you now? Last I saw we had maybe four, and that was me and some buds) ! Fan of 2-3 years here, just seen Crybaby some days ago and was very inspired by the lovely remake – I decided to chip in on the fandom with a Satan / Asuka Ryo of both Crybaby and of the manga / 80s OVAs!

I haven’t gotten all my pages, other than the rules, up just yet. But my Ryo is very canon to both Crybaby and to the manga + OVAs, which are sectioned into two separate verses. I will glady RP both!
