#SimpleJoy β’ This year, Iβve been really busy with project after project and it has been a challenge working within a small space (you know what they say about goldfish and size of its bowl). So my parents offered to swap their spacious master bedroom with my cozy sized one and wouldnβt take no for an answer! I felt bad but they were so happy and willing to give me their room I couldnβt refuse. Itβs these simple gestures that Iβm really grateful for. Itβs not what they do for me or how they benefit me but their unconditional love shown in the smallest of actions. // Letβs make an effort to cultivate a movement that honors our parents in this generation! Iβve seen so much parent/elder shaming these days and all of this hate ultimately stems from what they couldnβt or havenβt done for you and I. This greedy, self-benefitting mentality blinds us from how much they have done for us. The older generation has invested so much of their time and paved a way for us to enjoy what we have today! Parents are not perfect but we have so much to learn from them. Today I challenge you to honor and love the parents/elders around you. Don't forget to say your please and thank yous for the sacrifices they make everyday, small and large #lovemovement
