The Accidental Poem

“Sex shouldn’t be a chore a show or a performance evaluation. We tend to overthink it, worry about our weight, size of our parts, sweating too much, smells and an endless list of things that are meaningless. We ultimately lose touch with it truest intent. The best parts of it. We need to remove pressure from the moment. Let it go. Soak up the moment. Embrace all of it. Enjoy your body; enjoy your partners’ body. Have fun. Be loud. Growl. Be awkward and clumsy. Kiss too hard and clink teeth. Bump heads. Be messy. Give in to the pleasure. Laugh. Swear. Bite. Grip. Lick. Writhe. Keep the lights on. Fall to the floor. Push up against the window. Scream. Moan. Whimper. Stop in mid thrust and kiss furiously. Pull hair. Pull the shower curtain off. Spank. Use toys. Pretend to be someone else. Wear costumes. Be rough. Be gentle. Smell each other on each other. Be in the moment. Demand and obey. Catch each other’s breath in your mouths. Never break eye contact. Cuddle and sleep. Sex is not about ego and roles and expectations, it’s about love and vulnerability and connection and sharing.”
