Fortunately for Hibiki, two layers of clothes tend to lessen the burns ā not that he would have reacted much anyway, heās used to worse by now. However, heās not looking forward to cleaning coffee out of a white coat though; maybe he shouldnāt wear white around Rohan, it seems to always get ruined one way or another.
Simply ignoring it, he takes a sip of his own coffee as the other speaks, lowering it with an apologetic nod.Ā āAhā¦Right, right, sorry. Have you been getting a lot of visitors?"Ā
āI donāt plan on celebrating, no. As much as I like sweets, I donāt want to walk around making an idiot of myself in front of strangers when I can just buy bags of candy and keep it for myself." Maybe if some of his friends were around he would be more open to it, but thatās not the case as of right now. He takes a step in, shuffling out of the way so the other can close the door. "So if youāre up for it, learning would be nice!ā
Well, good! Bleach will wash that right out, don't be a crybaby, you silly bun. Ā Regardless, the mangaka turned on his heel to let him in, and only then did a realization hit him. ... A pause.
"Heaven's Door."
With that, he turned to face Hibiki again, flipping through his pages and skimming for vital information. The ability to summon demons, and... dragon stream? A defensive move. Interesting... that would actually be good inspiration! The good news behind all of this, was that he read that this boy was no threat towards him.
"Think of it as security," he mumbled, closing the boy's book and heading back to his desk. "Come on in,Ā Shining One. The amount of visitors today has been disgusting. I have nothing better to do, since I can't draw with all of this racket." What the hell did that even mean? Maybe he should've looked more... nah. Not today.
"I knew I picked a good friend in you, Hibiki. Your mind's in the right place, after all." A smug grin, before he seated himself at his desk. You can stand and watch. "So tell me... what are you up for learning?"
