11. Alright I've got a confession to make...

Captain Barnacles is ready to meet with you! Maaaaaan, making this profile for him proved to be an absolute pain! I had to jump between the currect version of MS Paint and MS Paint Classic due to both having unique problems to them! Like, for some reason, even though I have the Octonauts font installed on my laptop, it just doesn't work on the new MS Paint. And then Classic Paint doesn't have the convenience of being able to just add a color's code to get it. Not to mention that the new MS Paint adds pixels even when you save it in a format that should prevent that all together!

So I'm obviously gonna make this profile into a template to minimize the problems.

There are some obvious formatting issue, I'm sure. But I'm not gonna fix them. I'm too tired...

Kwazii is up next though I probably won't do his right away.

You didnt even MENTION that the reason you guys evolved to hibernate was cuz your ancestors survival pods were buried deep into the soft soil beyond thr layer of volcanic glass that would protect yall from the wind storms half the year- or how the surface is covered with pools of shimmering water thats dragged along by the moons- or-

But having a job as the "third eye" to watch out for dangers and technical issues is pretry impressive for a species that cant see more than 2 feet clearly in front of themselves- and has their eyes closed most of the time and rely on their antennae to sense-

every fat person you know for the most part probably has a story like this, of medical neglect. many of the stories i've heard personally are when the complaint or the doctor wasn't related at all, like being told to lose weight at the ear nose and throat doctor or at the dentist. it's straight up just bias. it's such a thing that in the show Shrill it's portrayed, when Aidy Bryant goes to the gynecologist and her doctor suggests she get gastric bypass.

the studies on health and fatness are simply not that black and white and there is basically no research that shows that more than an incredibly tiny minority of people can lose weight and keep it off for more than like 2 years. bodies have set points that they gravitate towards, it's not a personal failure. this also is how the weight loss industry succeeds so well - repeat customers.

some of the harm associated with fatness is also due to weight cycling, which is very hard on your body and is even worse if you get off a GLP1, which according to a recent study causes weight to be regained at a rate that is 4x faster than without taking a GLP1.

you don't have to hate yourself. you don't have to hate other people for their body type either. it makes me so sad to see the thinspo tag going around again in 2026 a lot like it was back in the day.
