Destined to Read

I bought this book along with another Elle Kennedy series yesterday. I have heard so much about Off Campus after a friend recommended it to me. So today, I am going to meet Garrett. I hope I am not yet too late.

I definitely feel so tiny and so ancient now.. Pfft! It's only this year that I discovered that Joseph Gordon- Levitt the actor is also an author! And he had written not just one but two books! Oh, a man after my own heart. Let me just wallow for a few more minutes, ok? Yay!! The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories is a collection of poetry, short stories and anecdotes, and even bedtime stories. But, it is intended for 18 year-olds and above.  It has been published year 2009 and Volume 2 was released a year after that and the 3rd book on the succeeding years. (Oh my, that was about a decade ago!) Joseph now has about more than 5 different books in all.  This Tiny book packs a punch. Suffice it to say that size doesn't matter, because this series is enchanting and mesmerizing! And I'm not just saying that because I've got a crush on JGL. He's more than just a face - he's a gem!

This is a story that combines southern settings and Gothic elements with the struggles of a young woman overcoming the loss of a loved one. After the death of her mother, teenager Lee Ann Daniels must leave the suburbs to live with her dad in the country, in the town of Laverne. There she discovers lost souls seeking help from her.
