Birth control isn’t for everyone but it is an incredibly valuable medication that is a cornerstone of women’s health and reproductive rights. In an age of increasing right wing ideology, abortion bans, violence against women, and fears around reducing birth rates, going out of your way to make fear mongering statements about contraception and paint it as this big scary medication that’s going to kill you feels like a psyop
