dark places, happier thoughts

indie nostalgia is hopefully catching up to the games i’m nostalgic for. not metroidvanias or boomer shooters, i never played those growing up. i want more games like Pipistrello. More gba/ds games with big chunky sprites to make up for lack of screen space.

i love to feel needed. I love to be there when I'm needed. Even if I get frustrated at my inability to help truly sometimes, i still will be there for someone else when they need me. but this feeling, i wonder if it's love. it doesn't feel like it.

part of my journey with drawing has been refusing to look back on what i draw as of late. If im happy with it i’ll snap a photo. but ive taken the wind out of my own sails plenty by fixating on drawings that look ugly. Im always tempted to, i really am. but it’s good to keep moving for now.
