TESSELLATION / GROWTH
Life around my desk
In time and space we may exist and yet loose our conscious self in the many facets of this virtual world around us. Sometime WORK, TEXING, GAMING and all we are limited to is the dependancy on these wires.
We weren’t born with chains we created this digital web around us.
TANGLED / WIRED / LIFE NOW & THEN
A melange of colours drench my sight wherever I move my eyes around. Little magical moments of life as well call.

faces of festivity
Ends, give way to new beginnings, as nature twines it’s ends into beautiful knots merging delicately. Tender yet irrevocable.
“He Has Made Everything beautiful in its time”
So it be seasons, nature, colours or how we are made to look at the most ordinary things in the most unordinary ways… the beauty of small things.
Eyes have the power to speak a great language Just like some feelings are not human, yet most beautiful!

As long Journeys pass, and only memories last. I take down a walk in a time indefinite, reminiscing the gone by. Pictures scattered all around, some things those got lost while some found! Tied with thread of love, it lays in my memory frame. Now I know why they say love flows downwards from generation to next again!
Canopy in yellows, arch the streets; scattered Golden showers lay sun-kissed beneath my feet as I walk past the summer recedes, giving way to the ombré skies that promise of after spring rains.
GOAN DIARIES 2
Sand . Sea . Sun . Surf - as much of a cliché it may sound but the fact remains that exploring Goa minus these would be like not playing with a full deck. The erratic and tranquil both coincide here on this part of the western coastline.
A perfectly calm sunset along the beach however is my idea of enjoying a seafront, and nothing better than a mirror reflection of the sky on water.
GOAN DIARIES
Goa was never on my bucket list for the more obvious reasons, but then like they say what you resist persists. So off to the west coast for a friend’s Goan wedding. I figured going to a new place and not exploring around was probably not built in me. Despite the day packed with functions and the seemingly unending work that I carried along I did manage to sneak out for some short visits.
Like how one usually starts, I also hit ‘Places to visit in Goa’ on Google that showed some touristy and some not so touristy ones, I’m usually ok with either till it interests me. Off the random list ‘Lady of Immaculate Conception, Goa’ looked most intriguing or may be its my unprecedented love for White, that immediately triggered my imagination of this white church set against sprawling green. But to my expectations this turned out to be very different from my imagination. Amidst the central Panjim the Church is positioned on a brick pedestal of sorts with stairs that leads to the structure. The white walls stand bright against the blue hues of sky and reflection of Baroque architecture with fuchsia blue accentuating the details in minimal places. The crisscross stairs enveloping the facade creates distinctive play of layered shadow and depth.
The insides were not flamboyant but humble with detailing in distinctive corners. In the vicinity of ‘Immaculate Conception’ were buildings with an old town charm, painted in bright blue, ochers and contrasting pinks were book stores and eatery joints.
What fascinated me most about the city was the name-plates in beautiful Typographic forms and patterns. These peculiar blue white, hand painted tiles are called Azulejos, introduced by the Portuguese they have a distinctive local feel.
It’s fascinating how these small parts of the country that were colonised, adapted the cultures of the dominant place yet have an indigenous aura to them be it Goa, Pondicherry or others likewise.
A mélange of east and west…was Goa for me.
Breadwinner's Morning Toil
Every morning millions of people in India start their day with worshiping Gods, feeding 'bhog' with devotion. A reflection of similar devotion, people on streets have towards their work. Early morning they feed the giant machine with tar coal, just like it is a deity of sorts, for the Breadwinners it is no less that god as it is their means of income.

Spectators
Peripeteia of the ‘subject’ as the 'spectator' to the act of photographing, contrary to the photographer witnessing the event. Bringing a sense of discomfort in me as a photographer, that is otherwise experienced by the subject. The men deeply engrossed in the event, gazing & talking in the ear.
Frozen in the moment
Time is always on a move. While there are times we are frozen in this movement of time with memories of past. Retrospecting and reminiscing, we find our peace in the chaos. There is utter calmness and stillness in the mind despite the movement and chaos around us, as in the physical sense in this image.
