Vincent ‘V’ Bradley is the nomad that has no clan.

He left the Bakkars, refusing to lose himself into the ranks that Snake Nation is. He didn’t have the privilege of meeting Jackie at the Night City border. So there was no welcoming hand, no guide to ease his introduction.

Everything he learned about Night City, he learned alone. He entered Night City, high on hope that opportunities come here that you can’t find anywhere else.

He would quickly learn that Night City eats you alive from the inside out. For outsiders, the process was even faster.

6 months in, he was hungry, broke and angry all the time. He started affiliating with Raffen Shiv just to keep his head above water. He assisted in hitting corpo convoys for the pay check, but drew the line at the other sick shit that Raffen were known for. V attached himself to them because he needed stability, not because he saw them as family. He kept himself separate.

He works with them purely for survival, but internally he still sees himself as temporary; someone passing through, not someone who belongs.

You could almost consider him a double agent, splitting his time between Raffen work and mercenary jobs. Eventually, he managed to score a contract from Rogue Amendiares. To V, it felt like he'd finally hit the big leagues. He thought this was his chance to put some distance between himself and the Raffen for good.

Through this job, he met Panam Palmer, a former Aldecaldo who had never completely severed her ties to her clan. Like him, she was drifting through Night City, taking mercenary work wherever she could find it.

Through his relationship with Panam, his world begins to start closing in on him. The closer they grew, the more difficult it became for V to reconcile who he was with who she believed him to be. He had never considered himself a true Wraith.

But in Panam’s eyes - a Wraith is a Wraith and he wonders how long he can keep his secret in the dark.
