okay... i have searched through my 'videos' tag and have found some absolute goodies to share (i have probably missed so many, i am eager to see more!). links to the original videos are under the song used. there's a few that i will list under the cut! but for now i'll start with my favourite:
@dershoimvik's afterlife by arcade fire. fucking beautiful edit. rips my heart out. stomps on it. eats it with sharp teeth. then spits it out and stomps on it again. i listen to this song all the time because of this edit. i made an ian mixtape and this is the first song on it because of this edit. I LOVE THIS VIDEO AND IT'S COMPARISONS. the layover of voices as the intro to the song plays? the cuts between matching scenes? the perfect scene choices? the way the song lyrics and scene selection convey soooooo much emotion. towards the end when frank's talking at monica's funeral and it plays scenes of ian and mickey? fuck. fucking incredible. so many kudos. i think highly of your work dershoimvik

what are your fav mickey hcs?
i don't know if i can rank favorites but these are some belief systems i operate under:
-the year mickey was in family services was also the year he did little league with ian
-coming back from prison after mexico, because mickey has little to none of his old belongings most of the clothes he wears afterwards are ian’s and eventually whatever they end up buying/thrifting for mickey to rebuild his staples with (they share pretty much all clothes anyways but he needs pants with the right inseam)
-the bullet or the fragmentation of it from when kash shot mickey is still in his leg (whatever ned missed m removing the buckshot in his ass is still there too)
-mickey introduced ian to joy divison which is where ian got the idea to make his stage name for the club (ian) curtis
