Julchen smiles as she looks at his message one last time before she places her mobile phone inside her bag. She then started to pack up some things for the sleep over, and since today was Friday, she has the weekend to spare.

  He sat by the glass panels, so he could see if she has arrived. A waiter comes by his side and gives him a menu. On the spot he decided that he orders something and maybe they could stay for a little while at the cafe. A shot of espresso for him and a cafe americano for her.

  As he sat comfortably, he decided to notify Jul. He was about to text her when really, he could've just called. And so he did.

Meanwhile, Gilbert looked like he was really confident with his work and enjoying every bit of it. She always knew there was never an easy path in life, but people who enjoy the path they take achieve more than just success, in her opinion. He looked like one of those people. She was just assuming though, there were still a lot of things she didn’t know about him. “You must be very busy.” She answered absentmindedly, thinking of how much work he probably did back in his office. “And yet you still manage to smile and have fun, I’m amazed.” Chi chuckled quietly, though it didn’t last long enough—

"Chi is good enough. It’s short and simple! But, if you won’t mind, would you like me to call you mine?"

For a moment, she found herself just staring at him, wide-eyed in surprise. It didn’t take long enough for her brain to process his words in her head and her face decided to react to it by lighting up in a bright red hue. The flustered Japanese immediately looked down on her feet and hid her face from his view, accidentally tripping on her words.

"N— I mean—" She wasn’t going to just let herself be embarrassed over such words. Clearing her throat and nervously taking a deep breath, she replied, "Only if you’d let me do the same. Otherwise, Chi is good enough." Sometimes, having a friend like Julchen had its perks.

He noticed her blushing, well, there was no one who wouldn't - with each people that he tried that line on, he'd get the same reaction - but for this one, surprisingly, he even received a comeback that sounded like it would come out of his boisterous younger sister.

"You just sounded like someone I knew. Haha! But anyway, I was just kidding, ayt~ I hope you didn't feel weirded out of me haha!"

He felt Gilbird sit on top of his head, and with that he petted him for a while there. "And yes, I am very busy, but on some days I just need to go out, I just can't stand some people in the office.."

Brushing of the wink, she scoffs at him and eventually leans back to her hair, taking the espresso with her. “Go right on ahead. I’m sure you’ll want to contact the numbers there. My boss loves big orders, just so you know.”

It kind of sounded like he was trying to really hit on Eli, again. Gilbert knew that, and felt that Eli would notice soon enough. Truthfully, at the back of his mind he wanted to, because why not? Eli has been the greatest girl he ever met, although some circumstance just can't be avoided and that led to them having to part ways before. But this was a new place, maybe a new chapter, although they had that past, it's not like they can't start a new one. All those years that they haven't met, he wouldn't deny that at some days, he'd remember her, or miss her.

What holds Gilbert back a bit was of course, Eli herself. They've just met again today. And obviously, today's not the right time.

Gilbert looked around a little with his eyes as she mentioned that the flowers are for the cafe they're in. He hums out a soft 'Hmm' with it. "Having to wait sucks..--"

The next thing he hears was Eli's 'ow', looking at her direction, realizing that she actually hurt her tongue while sipping the hot coffee, and actually sticking it out a little.

"Yeah, sure, you did that on purpose--" Gilbert laughs. "--..would you like me to kiss the pain away then?" he laughs more while his elbows are on the table with his face cupped by his hands.

[laughs] Just now, you reminded me of my own brother. Anyway… I trust Julchen’s tastes as much as you do, don’t worry. She has never given me any clothes that she thinks would look bad on me or would give a bad impression on me and it makes me feel safer that way. Plus, her staff are nice people!

But that's great then! But if Jul ever gets to your nerves, tell me right away. [laughs] Ah.. I haven't seen for so long, seeing her recently whacked by brains actually. I mean, her personality hasn't changed, still very passionate with all these fashion stuff. [self control on describing Julchen more because sister complex dsjadsjaf]
