ive not been writing here at all but since all of yall gamers follow me here . im stroking my chin bc im trying to figure out if i should bother trying to write a character from ace combat 7 like has anyone picked up that game except for me
Im not sure if i feel comfy on this blog right now. I want to write dutch, i love writing dutch, but i cant help but feel like ? A lot of folk dont want me here ? Or that im just not doing a good job with dutch/people dont like the way i intepret him so.. mm
Dutch talks a lot about faith, can you talk about him & religion ? What’s his relationship with it?
well, he’s not religious. that much is clear. he thinks that if god does exist then he’s clearly abandoned the world. he’s more of a thinker, he doesn’t trust in what’s invisible he only trusts in whats real. but he does believe that you can have faith in a person, that you can trust a person, that you can believe in a person. just as he has faith in people like hosea, like the rest of the gang. he believes that if you just trust each other enough, you can achieve anything. there’s that bond there that he really believes in, faith can change the fate of worlds, and has done. both for bad and for good. faith has made people kill for a cause, or save people for a cause. it’s a powerful force and he knows it’s strength. but it has nothing to do with religion. he doesn’t have any faith in the words of what he’d deem as fiction. but he does have faith in the future. and that faith is tested a lot throughout the progress of rdr2, and completely exterminated by the end of it.
Aint posted in a while but heres why dutch can be represented by a crow or a raven: crows are v protective of one another, they're fly or die ugm? Theyre quick and clever, maybe not the most intellectual but very good at learning and adapting. But like every animal on earth they have a penchant for survival. In the case of ravens, they are normally lone birds but they bond for life, and will stay with the other bird for as long as they both live (dutch n hosea pls n thank.) But also these birds are deemed as bad omens, cruel, evil, for nothing other than their appearance and the frightening sound of their caw. Obvs dutch does worse than just scream at folk and steal their chips but at the end of the day crows and ravens are gonna eat your eyeballs when you die, they only care about survival--either their own, or with their peers.
apologies to everyone waiting on me for replies. im afraid work really just. takes a lot out of me and time out of my day and i just kind find the energy to muster words. i want to reply i just dont want to give anyone a load of wank. so like. im sorry but also ig you can consider my on a semi-hiatus ? kinda ? rn at least
