        They were put on STANDBY, until further information was acquired & she was pissed that they couldn’t do anything yet ( BECAUSE, Hotch explained, they needed to play it safe despite the good results from rushing forward the last case ). Of course, not until there was another victim as defined by the law, AFTERALL, uncertainty still plagued whether or not the cases were linked. & THAT certainly was laughable, such hesitance when someone’s LIFE was being risked.

Morgan wasn’t even sure there were regulations on obliviating and how often someone could do it in an unknown amount of time--what he was damn sure about was that nothing was happening when something should be. It was a case overdue, they’ve been taken on and off of similar for the last couple of months, finally finding the minimal amount to allow them to pursue. Frustration hardly described what he felt when a higher up decided to pull some strings.
