Even though I’m not so active recently, I still draw. Mostly unfinished sketches, pairings that I usually do not draw here, and suggestive drawings that I do not feel comfortable sharing with people, who have no expectations of me doing so (especially when there can be minors). I won’t be calling any names, however, please, do not donate out of pure kindness and empathy. I totally understand the appeal since I am myself donating every single month to different causes, but unfortunately, there are way too many people who are using someone’s tragedy and devastation for their personal gain. And trust me, amount of scams is unbelievably high.

So please, before you donate, look for proof. If they are displaced - any sort of proof of their old home (address, old documents, etc), if they are in need of medical help - any documentation of diagnosis, I think you understand. People can be huge assholes, so don’t trust them only because they ask for help. Better do a quick check and if there is nothing except sob story, better donate to someone with actual proof.

Unclaimed Island

Unclaimed Island bears this name only as a courtesy to the old tradition since for generations it was a motherland for many infamous pirates, gangs and a centre of criminal world together with a slave market. It was possible to find any kind of shopping, any information, just a right price was needed. For quite a long time it was also disarrayed and unorganised, there was basically no rules there. Maybe it was a reason why pirates liked it so much and even some regular sailors were there.

It was changed with arrival of Arthur Kirkland. He arrived there as a captured witch and a vessel off valuable information on Diamond Court, but instead of getting answers out of him and getting a hold of his magic, he caused a massive riot. There was actually quite a lot if people who preferred to have some changes after centuries of chaos and he was the one who took over the responsibility for Island’s improvement. He did some things that most people did not like such as abolishment of quite a lot of illegal places and activities (but not all, especially not ones that sold information), cancelled a market and started creating an economy for the island. As a result, he was able to start creating some other infrastructure other than pubs and brothels, so more sailors started coming over but shooing some other pirates. A legislative system was also created.

Unclaimed Island is very close to the sea border with Kingdom of Hearts so it was natural that refugees started arriving to the island. There was a massive amount of just regular civil people who searched refugee on the Island and it changed the nature of island drastically. It was still focused on the sea and sailors but it also meant there was more fishermen, schools for building and organising boats, some legal sea exports arrived. A huge amount of families also arrived there so laws became not too much but stricter and schools, nurseries appeared. Sailors still love this place and most of the pirates either, but definitely some part of them preferred other places. Additionally, political refugees from Kingdom of Clubs arrived and settled on the island, even though their number is still smaller than refugees from Hearts.

Current leader is Arthur Kirkland.

His one of the main helpers, right hand and his next successor is Willem Janssens. He is one of the refugees from Kingdom of Hearts so he was not really long on the island, but showed his dedication and determination in improvement of island. He is especially good at developing the economy of island, but not too talkative. His family still in Kingdom of Hearts and he personally saw how his younger sister was turned into the stone. During evacuation his smaller brother disappeared and he just hopes that he is still alive.

Two more important persons there are Herakles Karpusi and Gupta Muhammad Hassan. They are both main researchers who are helping with the investigation on the Catastrophe. Usually they give their findings to Arthur with possible leads, he searches for the artefacts, gives it to them and they try to either decipher it or to find a hint. They are quite strange duet from Kingdom of Clubs and Kingdom of Diamonds, but they worked out.

Tribes.

Despite world being mostly divided by Kingdoms, there are still tribes. Mostly they are worshipping world in a little bit different manner, more ancient one.

There are a lot of tribes all across the world, mostly they are accepted and no one bothers them. Nevertheless, the discriminatory trend in Kingdom of Clubs is quite concerning.

Witches.

There are three main witches houses that inherited the most of Dragon Blood’s power. They also created this way three main categories of magic: transfiguration, spirit possession and communication, and spells. Those branches are divided between main witch houses but they are not limited.

Witches are mostly located in Kingdom of Diamonds since they believe it was final resting place of Dragon. However, it brought them a great disaster that is called Witch Trials. 70% of all witches in Diamonds were killed and the rest started hiding. Those were the majority of witches overall, so they keep a big resentment towards Diamonds. Some of the survivors started wrecking the kingdom, bringing a misery but it is a minority.

The most open to the world is House of Potescu. They are located almost on the border between Kingdom of Clubs and Kingdom of Diamonds, at the middle of lush pine forrest. Thanks to their location, they were mostly unaffected by Witch Trials and they were able to live peacefully. Despite them being a Witch House, they live almost like a royal. They live at the lonely ancient castle, protected by the nature and hold truly aristocratic manners. However, maybe they look like royals, act like royals, they are holding a key to transfiguration magic. They are able to transform into different creatures and from the very beginning of life, they have a second magical form. This is what could be called werewolves but they fully control it. They also have extended life span. Current Head is Anica Popescu who prefer not to use his second form a lot, but his younger sister Marceline Popescu almost all the time uses it.

The hardest one to find is House of Bodevik. They do not have a permanent place to live, they constantly travel with spirits and lost souls. They can live in waters, they can live in firests, they can live among humans, as long as their ancient friends are with them. Spirit Realm is also the place that they can visit and possibly even call it a home. It is a chaotic and mysterious place where you see world differently, but they love it. They are usually not talkative and prefer to stay with their spirits, but sometimes they need communication with humans. They help spirits as much as they can, guide them, and protect sacred places. Current Head is Sigurd Bondevik, he is rarely seen and there are rumours that he spends most of the time with spirits in waters.

Kingdom of Spades.

The people of Spades have a rather dangerous gift of the attacking power. Their magic is as sharp as the blade, it could destroy so many obstacles on their way but due to its nature, people of Spades was learnt to keep their power at bay after some history. Depending on the position of the card, magic could be more destructing or less, and it provides a great defence against unwanted guests.

The past monarchs were not really remarkable, people of Spades enjoyed their calm and stable life. Economy was good, no wars was happening so it seemed like a success for them. It was a desirable outcome especially after one of their past Queens.

This is a part of their history that people try to avoid and just to forget, it brings so much shame to them, even though it happened generations ago. People called her Spades Dame and maybe she was not of a royal blood, just a wife of the Spades queen, but she was the one who people remembered. Her husband died early, leaving her with a small child, and maybe it was a reason why she was so full of rage and burning passion for the revenge. She was incredibly powerful with her royal card and with witch blood, and uncovered the full potential of the Spades magic. She unleashed a massive war on all other kingdoms to take their powers, covering in blood every land she visited. Dame was successful in invading almost all; the territories but almost at the end, right before the last fortress of Diamonds Kingdom, she unexpectedly passed away.

Kingdom of Spades was severely punished for the most devastating war in their history. Almost all citizens were stripped away from their cards, and kingdom was isolated for decades. Fortunately, now it is a past and current Kingdom of the eternal night is a heart of technological progress. They still avoid offensive technologies, but their other improvements are truly remarkable.

Current young King is Alfred Jones and he still has no Queen. He has inherited a throne not really a long time ago and it is almost like just yesterday he was a child. He still has his cheerful and positive personality, and as a King he really focuses on the technological advancement of the country. He does not really seek for a Queen not only because he is young but also because the Queen’s Card is simply stolen. No one knows where it is but no one really cares to search for it. They are even secretly to get rid of it since it is rumoured that The Spade Dame cursed the card. Almost every Queen after her died an agonising death and using card’s magic was almost like poisoning yourself.

The advisor for past two generations of monarchs is Wang Yao. He was the one who proposed to make focus on the technologies and make abet for it to improve the country’s economy. His suggestion was incredibly successful and people of Spades are incredibly grateful to him. Since the politics more or less stabilised, he focuses on educating the young king.

Kingdom of Spades truly lives its best life and just tries to avoid any new conflict.

Kingdom of Hearts. The Frozen Kingdom.

The People of Hearts has a miraculous gift of healing even the deepest wounds. Their power allows not only to stitch the cut, stop the bleeding but also to ease the mind and clear the soil. Hearts power is appreciated all over the world, their healers are believed to be able to heal even the worst injuries. Even kids could heal their scratches themselves while the King could definitely heal even the fatal wound. There are even rumours that combining power of King and Queen could return the dead.

The past King was reigning for ages and of the most remarkable thongs that he did is development of the healing hot springs which became incredibly popular. For some time they even stripped away the title of the best vacations from Diamonds, truly embracing their powers. He was pretty peaceful and brought prosperity to his kingdom, but he did not have a Queen. He had kids with a citizen of another kingdom so they couldn’t get married but still raised two sons. Unfortunately, their eldest son passed away during very strange poisoning, almost like a magical corruption. The King could not do anything with that. It is was unknown for a very long period what was that corruption and how to heal it.

The current King is a younger son, Ludwig Beilschimdt, the youngest King among all of the other monarchs. Unlike Alfred, he already has an assigned Queen, his dear friend Kiki Hondu. Maybe they are not lovers but they are definitely best friends so the arrangement worked fine for them. Unfortunately, they were not able to reign for a very long since very soon after their coronation, The Catastrophe appeared almost like from anywhere.

Previous advisors were changing quite a lot, and the current one is young Feliciano Vargas and maybe he seems to be too careless, too relaxed, too incompetent but it is not entirely true. He is indeed very relaxed but also extremely knowledgeable, and maybe his flaming aura was exactly what Ludwig needed. He wanted to continue the focus on tourism and healing, but had no time. Also, some speculates that he had something deeper with a King.

One day the temperature started drastically dropping, killing almost all of the harvest and animals. Very soon after that the wind became so strong that even the eldest and strongest trees were snapping. Just a few days after the beginning, the strange monsters appeared which attack turned people into statues. It is unknown whether it is reversible or not, no one had time to figure it out. The Storm was rampaging, the ghost monsters were deserting the kingdom, and The Catastrophe was going onwards, right towards other Kingdoms. King Francis of Diamonds made a hard decision to use his powers and seal The Catastrophe away. He knew that there may be people alive there with no means of survival but he had no choice. Just a week after the beginning of the disaster, most of the Kingdom was sealed away.

Most of the Hearts are either dead or turned into the stone. The King was turned into the stone after defending one of the shelters, and Advisor became one of the first victims when he was leading the evacuation. Buildings are destroyed. But there is still a hope since Queen survived and survivors were able to hide away in the depths of the Kingdom. Nothing is known about them in outside world, but they are trying to survive. Queen is healing almost non-stop but they all know that this is not the end.

However, I want to warn that it was heavily inspired by oumaheroes Cardverse AU, please check it out! To be more precise, I absolutely loved the idea that at some point in time, Arthur was a royal advisor and that some shit is happening in Kingdom of Hearts. At that point, the similarities end.

Basic Worldbuilding.

The existence of their world and the birth of magic are associated with the life and death of the Great Dragoness. She was like a goddess who helped humanity giving them her gifts of healing and protection. Her power could end the famine, could calm the Earth but it could not make an immortal being.

Thus, after some time she unfortunately passed away but not before giving her presents to seven humans. Four of them were chiefs of their respective tribes and three of them were heads of their families. To the tribe of the cold and freeze, she gifted her eyes so they would always see through the lies. To the tribe from afar, she gifted her heart so their blood would always warm and any wound could be healed. To the tribe of the sun, she gifted her scales so nothing would ever destroy them. To the tribe of the night, she gifted her claws so not even a stone would withstand their attack. And to the heads of the families, she gifted her blood so her power would always be in their bodies.

And only after that, she passed away. Leaders of the tribes decided to divide their new powers between their people. The most important got more, less important got less power. This way the card system was born, and with remaining power returning to the original owners, Royal Cards were born. Even though, Royal Blood still contains mystery power that makes the card owner even stronger.

Heads of the families did not have enough power to do the same with their magic, so it remained only through their own blood. This way witches and wizards appeared who needed no card to cast even powerful spells. They had a deep understanding of the world’s magic, thus for a long time they were helping the Royals.

Kingdom of Diamonds.

The people of Diamonds have a powerful protection out of their magic. Their shields are as strong as diamonds themselves, making them almost invincible from the attacks, diseases, catastrophes, so they rarely have been attacked in history and their King rarely has been poisoned. The stronger cards could be protected even from the plagues, but even common one could guarantee some protection.

The past King was a violent man who started multiple discriminatory policies, messed up diplomatic relations with other Kingdoms, especially with the Kingdom of Clubs, and led the kingdom of jewels and gems into despair. One of his policies was Witch Trials that killed entire magic families and sent away the survivors. It surely created a new problem but the one who was left to deal with that was Francis, his nephew. But back then, he just preferred not to have an entire different class of the citizens who could possibly question his authority. During these trials Annisse Kirkland, the head of the Kirkland family, was violently killed and burned.

The current leaders are Francis Bonnefoy and Lili Bonnefoy-Zwingli. The King is the most influential monarch of his time not only because he is the eldest one in the new generation, but also because his power allows him to hold shields covering almost the entire Kingdom of Hearts. However, not a lot of people know, but Lily could guess that Francis sacrificed not only his magic to put and hold this shields. He with his young wife are seen to be extremely reliable and strong in public, even picking up the name of The Solar King but The Court holds a big challenge for them at times of their weaknesses. It is hard to see but the Civil War risks to break within the Palace.

The Past Advisor was Arthur Kirkland, secretly a witch. He was sent to the Palace at a very young age with an important mission and was raised as the next advisor for the new king. He indeed became one and together with Francis they were able to slowly start a progress in the kingdom, returning it to its prosperity. He was very well-known for his stubbornness and determination, possibly his power was something that young King needed to become the one he is today. Public does not know why he suddenly left but did not really question. After all, it is quite a hard jibe, so maybe he just could not handle it?

The current advisor is Remus Fernandez. He was the advisor before Arthur but after his leaving, he returned to the position. Thanks to blood ties with one of the witch family, has a very long life and so, has a lot of experience, and a little bit of carelessness. He is continuing Arthur’s policies and keeps an out on the Court. Has two sons: Antonio Fernandez who is a general of the army and one of the main leaders in the case of emergency, and João Ferreira who is the captain of the Royal Navy. Both of them are good friends with Francis.

Overall, the current Kingdom is recovering from its past mistakes and seems to be pretty successful.

Kingdom of Clubs.

The people of Clubs have an intimidating power of mind control. Depending on the power of the card, they could look deeply into someone’s mind and the most powerful cards could even control people. As a result, Clubs rarely communicate verbally (why say it when I can hear it anyway?) and outsiders may think of them as extremely rude due to them reading minds.

The past King was coronated for a very short period. She barely spent some time as a King despite her desire to continue her father’s legacy continue to improve the kingdom, and create stronger diplomatic relationships but quickly lost her crown. No one knows what happened to her and why did it happen but some speculate that she knew something. Something that she was not supposed to.

The current monarchs are Ivan Braginsky and Elizabeta Hedervary. King was coronated pretty early and in quite a rush, almost the same way the Queen was chosen to accompany him. Not a lot of things are known about them but with their reign, the kingdom became severely isolated and propaganda against other kingdoms appeared. It is hard to avoid since anyone could read your mind and just tell the authorities about it. The King and Queen almost did not appear in public and did not comment on their policies.

The past advisor was Feliks Lukasiewicz. He appeared and disappeared together with the past King so not a lot of information is known about him. Only ones who were close to him would say with no hesitation that despite his being eccentric, he truly wanted to make the kingdom better and he could not be dead. He is too strong for that.

The current advisor is Roderich Edelstein. Once again, there is almost nothing known about him, he barely appears in public. Before his position, he was a pretty well-known musician and his close circle knew of his passion to attempt in cultural revolution. He hoped to promote the culture of the Kingdom of Clubs, give more opportunities to artists, etc, but something went wrong.

A close friend of the past advisor, Toris Laurinaitis did not believe that his friend’s disappearance that so coincided with the unexpected King’s demotion was just an accident. He firmly believes that something deeper going on in the Court and possibly, King, Queen and their Advisor are not even themselves. Imposters? Puppets? He is not sure but he started his own Resistance that aims to uncover the secret of Clubs and bring a better future, meanwhile fighting the oppression. His other friends Eduard von Bock and Raivis Galante joined him.

Overall, the clouds are all over the kingdom and who knows what awaits them.
