۰•● once more, but with feeling — this is a queue based blog and though it can take a while to get a response, that doesn’t mean i’m not excited about the thread! i’m just queue based for my own sanity!

Watching with drink in hand, he hoped that would get her attention. It worked in the past not just for him but for his buddies. A simple thanks might get her to come over, give him a chance to even talk to her. Maybe get her name. But he was practically a ghost to her, nonexistent as the bartender made his way over to give her the drink he’d ordered for her. She never even looks his way, no simple nod. Was this her playing hard to get or something else? He was too curious for his own good and as she walked away while he looked on in confusion, Rick could feel his buddies shove him around to tease about the fail. They added that maybe tonight he’d have better luck when they went out for drinks. He did hope they were right but she wasn’t going to be leaving his mind any time soon, even as he got ready for the night out on the town. 

finding out where he was going to be that night was a cakewalk and soon enough, she’s shimmying into the tightest dress she owns, sofia swipes on some lipgloss and heads out. showing up, she steps out of the car she’d rented and grins as a hand extends to help her out. winking at the blundering idiot, she makes her way inside, absolutely preening when she feels nearly every eye focus on her. hips move enticingly as she makes her way through the club and right up to her target and then she passes him, she stares into his eyes before she’s dragging some poor schmuck onto the floor to dance with her. she might be dancing with this random guy, but she was performing for him, rickard and she knew it was only a matter of time before her teasing got the best of him. her eyes keep cutting back to him every time she switches partners and her moves becomes more and more sensual.

If he was honest, flirting after a game wasn’t something he had done before. Well, not for AWHILE at least. It was nice to see his skills didn’t rust over as they spoke. The smile never fading from her lips was what gave him the indication this was going well. Her compliments caused him to BLUSH, hiding it a bit as he titled his head down with the bill of his mostly covering his face until he looked back up. “Well thank you, I’ll be sure to keep it up as best I can.” It was NICE to hear that kind of confidence coming from someone who hadn’t seen him practice and play practically his whole life. It showed him that maybe he just might break out like she said. The sudden shift, however, did surprise him but HOW could he deny her number? Taking it with a smile, he nodded and placed it in his pocket. “I look forward to it.” Will replied with a grin before giving a wave in return. “It was nice to meet you as well.” And with that she was off, while he stood back and watched for a moment BEFORE making his way to his truck to drive home. Exhausted once he arrived, he effectively passed out within moments of getting home. When he woke up the next morning, late, he RUSHED to get ready for practice practically forgetting the piece of paper in his jean pockets from the night before. 

It didn’t even CLICK when he tossed them into the washer the next night after a tiring practice. Only when he took them out and seeing chunks of paper coming out of the pocket did he realize what he had done. A curse to himself, knowing he may not see her again and possibly ruining what COULD have been something. He almost threw the jeans to the ground before realizing what time it was. Still, after several days he figured she wanted nothing to do with HIM after no text. When he arrived at the stadium, he looked in the stands for a moment but didn’t see her. Not until she popped up on the jumbotron after a two run homerun from him. It brought a smile to his face and gave him slight hope she’d be THERE after the game ended. 

it was a hellova game, one that had her on the edge of her seat the entire time. she didn’t even notice that the pair of them had been on the jumbotron, she was too busy watching will and the amazing game he was having. though, she had noticed her friend’s wandering gaze that had settled onto a rather goofy outfielder. but, before she could focus on that, the action on the field is calling for her attention and soon enough, the game’s over and the home team won due to a last minute grand slam by the man she’d come here to see in the first place. she convinces her best friend to accompany her over towards the player’s gate so she can see if she’s able to catch will’s attention. she wasn’t willing to give up, just because she hadn’t received a call from him yet...

    he’s not entirely opposed to violence , especially when he can find a twisted sense of amusement mixed with pleasure in it .  but he’s been off the radar for a while , and he’ll be damned if he let anyone draw unwanted company back into his life .        ‘  i’m sure there’s a better ways to persuade someone into givin’ you want and get off on it    —    especially  if y’wanna avoid hunters comin’ after you . ’

derisively snorting when he starts talking about hunters, she merely rolls her shoulders back and cracks her neck. ❛ hunters only wish they could handle me, ❜ she quips back. but, he makes a good point, they didn’t need anyone stopping their fun. ❛ then what are you suggesting? ❜ her brow raises as she watches him, waiting for a response about what he thinks is a better course of action.

There was something different about her, something that Alec couldn’t QUITE put his finger on. Maybe that was why he was sticking around longer than usual, watching her as she looked out over the Loch as if trying to summon the legendary cryptid HERE and now. So it didn’t surprise him when he heard she might take one of those tourist bout tours, the ones that she never revealed herself too. It caused the taller Scotsman to chuckle. “If ye want a chance to see her, ye wouldn’t go on one of THOSE boats, lass.” It was sound advice, one he wouldn’t normally give to a stranger looking for the creature but she didn’t seem like one who would cause harm to her if Nessie CHOSE to reveal herself.

his chuckle prompts her to look over at him, her brows pinch together for a moment, curious as to what she might have said that made him laugh. ❛ oh? and i’m guessing you’ve got your own way to see her? ❜ he seemed to know something that clearly she didn’t and she’s wondering if he’ll tell her. she was drawn to the legend and wasn’t entirely sure why, but she had an inkling that it wasn’t so much her that was drawn to it, than to what lies within her. either way, she wanted to find out the reason she felt so connected.

It made Daisy a LITTLE frustrated when Sousa would prefer to use other means of communication, even if he was learning. But it always led to them learning more about the other and what their strengths were. His was still in the past but he was coming around to it, Sousa did ENJOY learning after all. “We tried our best, though some were a little less than accommodating…” No doubt Mack had read that in a few of there reports but the good heavily outweighed the bad in that regard. A laugh left the agent’s lips as he shrugged, the smile remaining. “WELL it is nice to finally see space after only thinking we’d maybe get there one day.” He answered before pausing a moment, the question almost catching him off guard for a brief moment UNTIL he remembered just how close her and Mack were. “We’re good, thanks.” He nodded. “I get to see her do what she loves everyday and she thrives in it. That and she’s teaching Cora.” Sousa couldn’t HELP but smile. “She’s something else.” 

❛ that’s to be expected, ❜ he replies, having known that not everyone would choose to sign up alongside them... his brows raise when he remembers just how far behind sousa was with all this technology stuff. ❛ i’m sure it was a bit overwhelming, but in a good way, right? ❜ listening to his response, the director holds the agents gaze for a moment and smiles when he spots sousa’s smile. he could tell that the other really cared about her, which only reminds him of the extremely brief moment where he had harbored a small crush on the inhuman. regardless, he’s happy for them, ❛ — should i be wondering if there’ll be wedding bells in the near future? ❜ after all, now she was like the younger sister he never had and he just wants what’s best for her.
