Miira threw the fuck down on this rekkid...and I’m proud to know her. Can I be real here? I cried hard at the end of the last track. I had to stop, sit in the silence for like a good few minutes, tears falling out of my eyes like I just heard my friend died. Without going into much... I’ll say this album hit home pretty hard.

I'm gonna state it clearly and loudly. I adore @hellokittyricki. As a street fighter player she's phenomenal and as herself, she's inspirational to me. I geeked out hard at Combo Breaker 2017 and caught her while she was in a rush to somewhere. All I could manage to say was "Ricki, your Chun-Li is so awesome!" and she briefly acknowledged me before power walking elsewhere. I immediately thought "shit, I just played myself" and subsequently explained my plight to my dude @magn3gro. To which he responded in the only way a good friend could "LMAO". I thought the night was gonna be a downer, but at some other point in the night she was out and about. So I took my chance, nervously apologised for earlier and explained myself. In a stammering mess I explained that I was a fan of her, and that she was an inspiration to me not only as a top tier FGC competitor, but also as a person who is herself at any cost. I essentially let her in on something very few people know about me. She smiled, hugged me and allowed me to take this picture (as well as a picture of us together). Easily one of the proudest moments of my photographic existence, my FGC experience and well... As a person who is also becoming myself at any cost. Two Books

I don’t like making announcements anymore. I wanted to not announce anything until they were at least 80 percent done. However, I do just want to put it out there, as they’ve been brewing in my head for ages now. I’ll be working on, and have been trying to work on, two books. One is an unnamed project involving illustrator Fionn Jordan a.k.a. @fatporpoise. The other is a book comprised of shots done entirely with manual focus and melancholy. Here’s to hoping that nothing else falls through, falls apart or dies this year. Paypal has recently updated their TOS and it’s something that everyone should pay attention to. “10.3h If you violate the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy, … you will be liable to PayPal for the amount of PayPal’s damages caused by your violation … You acknowledge and agree that $2,500.00 USD per violation … is presently a reasonable minimum estimate of PayPal’s actual damages … PayPal may deduct such damages directly from any existing Balance in the offending Account or any other Account you control.” DO NOT SEND PAYMENTS AS “GIFTS” You will be risking your commissioners account and that is really really bad. Artists, REQUEST PAYMENT THROUGH INVOICES. It lets YOU control how money is sent. Commissioners, DO NOT SEND PAYMENT unless you send it through “for goods and services.” If your artist requests ‘send as gifts’ BEFORE you send payment, tell them about the $2,500 fine per violation, as they probably do not know about it. Yes, paypal fees suck, but it’s better to have a few dollars missing than to get fined $2,500 for a $20 purchase.

This is really important! And yeah the fees suck, but it’s actually ILLEGAL to select “gifts” if you are actually paying for a service because of tax, like wise it is always illegal to accept payment that way. Please if you are a freelance artist taking commissions ALWAYS SEND AN INVOICE! It can cover your ass in more ways than one, and you know actually makes it easier to keep track of things anyway.
