I used to be the kind of girl who wouldn’t give a crap about anyone. I’ve been through so much that I eventually taught myself to shut out any guy who tried to walk into my life because I was used to the thought that they’d all walk out just like the ones who’ve hurt me before. But this one guy was different, I went out with my girls expecting to have a night like I usually did with a couple drinks with a j or two. I walked in and instantly saw him standing there with his group of friends and I felt it in the pit of my stomach as soon as I laid eyes on him. Like what the shit is going on, I fell head over heels for someone I didn’t even know and I knew he felt something as well just by the way he looked at me. Even four months later he looks at me the same way as he did that night.. It’s amazing how someone so great can come along with no warning or no sign and steal your heart. We’ve been seeing each other every weekend since, getting to know each other more and more as the weeks go by. This time he talked about having a future with me, it was kind of scary but it got me thinking about the what ifs.. Like, what if I marry this guy. What if he’s the one? Because people like him don’t come around out of the blue that often, but I’m so glad he did.
