HQ!! Light Novel VII | How Glasses Oikawa Came To Be
I’m not going to read the novel properly for a while but part of the context for the Oikawa glasses post involved Oikawa in a shop and he’s actually having these deep and meaningful thoughts about how despite the Karasuno match, it’s not as though everything is over etc. But even then he’s a little hesitant about everything.
Then he’s suddenly eavesdropping on these girls having a conversation about Halloween gifts (yeah I’m confused too), Christmas, confessing and not putting it off until next time etc. And while listening to that he realises that yes, this is just the start. It’s not the end at all. With that, he’ll also go and watch the (Shiratorizawa and Karasuno) match.
But apparently Oikawa has no stomach to mouth filter because this idiot turns around and thanks the two girls aloud. Aka the girls he just happened to be eavesdropping on and the situation straight up becomes:
“Uh what” “Who are you?”
BUT DON’T WORRY YOUR BOY’S TRYING TO BE SMOOTH
Oikawa: “UMM these glasses please”
Girl: “… yes, it seems like they’ve just been released.”
Oikawa: “Ummm, sorry. I thought you were a shop attendant. See? You since you two are so cute … Umm”
Girl: “Ha….”
(So apparently megane-kawa was literally the result of Oikawa trying to dig himself out of the mighty fine hole he got himself into omg THIS KID)
